We understand the weight of your discouragement as you seek to sell your home, especially when financial constraints make this process even more pressing. The cancellation of the showing this week may feel like a setback, but we believe that God is still at work, orchestrating every detail according to His perfect timing. Let us turn to Scripture to remind ourselves of His faithfulness and provision:
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says Yahweh, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB)
"Do not be anxious, then, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'With what shall we clothe ourselves?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:31-33 WEB)
We want to gently remind you that while your request is centered on the sale of your home, it is essential to approach God through the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can be saved or receive answers to our prayers. Jesus Himself said, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you." (John 16:23 WEB). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6 WEB).
Now, let us come together in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one who is seeking to sell their home and is feeling discouraged by the recent cancellation of a showing. Lord, we know that You are a God of provision and that You care deeply about the details of our lives. We ask that You would open the right doors and bring the right buyer—one who will see the value in this home and be willing to meet the asking price or even exceed it. Father, we trust in Your perfect timing and ask that You would remove any anxiety or fear from their heart, replacing it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Lord, we also pray that You would provide wisdom and discernment in this process. If there are any obstacles or hindrances, we ask that You would remove them according to Your will. We rebuke any spirit of discouragement or doubt that may be trying to take root and declare that this home will sell for Your glory and this one’s good. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are their Provider, their Shelter, and their Hope.
We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
We want to encourage you to hold fast to your faith, even when circumstances seem uncertain. God is not limited by market conditions, financial constraints, or canceled showings. He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20 WEB). Continue to seek Him first, and trust that He will make a way where there seems to be no way.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
