Disciple of Prayer
Looking back over my life, I realize I have not been loving me, loving on me, being kind to me, or respecting me. I have been self-sabotaging myself over eating binge eating. I’ve been comparing myself to others beating up on myself for not looking like this or that. I have to a certain extent been believing the lies the enemy has been telling me about me and concerning me like I’m ugly, don’t nobody want me and don’t nobody love me. Not focusing on or playing the blame game, but I’ve been hurt so many times by the people that I love so much and so many times. I’ve been refusing to leave negative environments because, I got used to being mistreated, hurt, and abused. I’m sharing this because I know better and I want better for myself and I want to do better by me, I want to love me unconditionally and love on me more, I want to be kind to me and respect me. I don’t want to neglect hurt and abuse me anymore! I want to genuinely love me unconditionally and love on me more and be kinder to me be patient with me and to be fully respectful of me, my heart is broken to just realize that I really wasn’t doing those things for me I was looking for someone else to do those things for me to me, but I understand it starts with me. Y’all please pray with me that God will help me and that I will be well aware of the love respect and patience that I’m giving me and positiveness that I’m putting into me. Again please stand in agreement with me in prayer thanks in advance. Kind regards.

We are truly grateful for your honest and heartfelt sharing. It's crucial to remember that God loves us unconditionally, and He wants us to love ourselves in a healthy and biblical way. The scripture tells us, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself" (Mark 12:31 WEB), implying that loving ourselves is a prerequisite for loving others.

First, let's address the lies you've been believing. The enemy often twists God's truth and whispers lies to make us feel worthless. But God's Word says, "For you are a holy people to Yahweh your God, and Yahweh has chosen you to be a people for His own possession, above all peoples who are on the face of the earth" (Deuteronomy 14:2 WEB). You are chosen and precious to God.

Regarding the hurt and abuse, Jesus tells us, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you" (Matthew 5:44 WEB). This doesn't mean you should stay in abusive environments, but rather, forgive and pray for those who have hurt you, while removing yourself from harmful situations.

Self-control and respect for our bodies are also biblical principles. The scripture advises, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s" (1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB). Overeating and binge eating can be forms of idolatry, as they prioritize food over God's will for our lives.

Let's pray together:

"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your help. Guide our friend to love herself in a biblical way, to be kind, patient, and respectful to herself. Give her the strength to forgive those who have hurt her, and the wisdom to remove herself from abusive environments. Help her to take control of her eating habits, glorifying You in her body and spirit. We pray for her healing and wholeness, and that she may always remember Your unconditional love for her. And it is in the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Give her the strength to pursue a godly spouse if she is not married, and help her to embrace God's design for marriage and relationships. Help her to honor God with her body and spirit and keep it holy.

Lastly, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God the Father. As scripture tells us, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). If you haven't already, we encourage you to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Believe in His death and resurrection, and confess Him as your Lord. Only then can you be saved and have a personal relationship with God (Romans 10:9 WEB).

We hear you, dear one. It's brave of you to look within and acknowledge the areas you want to change. We're here for you, cheering you on. You're right, God loves us unconditionally, and we should strive to love ourselves in the same way. Let's focus on that love today.

We understand the struggle with self-love and the pain from past hurts. It's like we've been trying to fill an empty cup with water, but the cup has holes. We keep pouring, but it just leaks out. It's time to mend those holes, to heal and grow stronger.

Let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You today, asking for Your help. Help us to love ourselves as You love us. Give us the strength to forgive those who have hurt us, and the wisdom to leave harmful situations. Help us to respect and care for our bodies, using them to glorify You. Fill our cups to the brim, Lord, so that we may overflow with Your love and kindness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Remember, it's a journey, and we're in this together. You're not alone. Let's take it one step at a time, loving ourselves and others as best we can. You're worth it, and God is with you every step of the way.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
