We hear your heart crying out for peace and safety and we join together with you before the Father in Jesus' name to seek His will for your life. We understand the deep desire to leave a place where you have felt threatened and hated and to find a quiet and secure home elsewhere, and we bring your fear and your hope for a new beginning to the Lord.

We want to gently encourage you in truth concerning speaking a life into existence one hundred fold. Only God has the power to call things into existence by His word. We do not create reality by our declarations, but we humbly ask our sovereign Father to provide and to lead us according to His perfect will. As it is written, Seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33. And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28. Our hope is not in the power of our own words, but in the power and love of Jesus Christ and His shed blood which saves us and covers us.

We also take comfort that you invoked the blood of Jesus, for it is indeed by Jesus alone that we have access to God and salvation. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. The blood of Jesus is our atonement for sin and our peace with God, and we cling to Him as our refuge.

We pray for your safety and for deliverance from hatred and threats. The Lord sees where you are and He is your protector wherever you go. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. Psalm 91:1-2. Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10.

We understand your desire to move quietly with your two cats to a foreign country and to have provision for a passport and finances. The Lord cares for all His creation and He sees your care for these animals, for a righteous man respects the life of his animal. Proverbs 12:10. We ask God to give you wisdom whether to stay or to go, for the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord. If it is His will for you to move, we trust He will open the doors and provide what is needed in His timing. We also pray that you will find godly counsel and not walk this path alone in secret isolation, but that the Lord will place trustworthy people around you to help you make wise and safe decisions.

We join together in prayer for you.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and we lift up this precious one to You. You know the hurt and the fear from being threatened and hated, and You see the marks of that pain tonight. We ask You to be their refuge and fortress and to surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. Lord, cast all anxiety upon You because You care for them. 1 Peter 5:7.

Father, if it is Your will for them to leave California and to find a new home in another country, we ask You to make the way clear, to provide the finances, to hasten the passport if it is needed, and to grant safe travel for them and for their cats. If it is Your will for them to remain, we ask You to establish them in safety where they are and to remove the threat and hatred from their life. Above all, let Your will be done and let them dwell in Your perfect peace and protection wherever they are. Lead them to a place where they can worship You freely, grow in faith, and live in quietness and godliness. We thank You for the blood of Jesus that covers and saves, and we ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

We've read your note and we hear how deeply you want to feel safe and at peace again. Wanting to be free from threat and hate, to have a quiet life where you and your cats are secure, is an understandable longing, and we are holding that with you tonight.

A move like this, especially to another country and in secret, carries a lot of practical and emotional weight. We want to pray for your safety and for clear wisdom as you think it through. It can help to not carry all the planning alone. If you have one trusted pastor, counselor, or mature friend, consider talking through the details with them privately, including the logistics for your cats, passport, finances, and where you would actually be safe and supported on the other side. Having another steady set of eyes can help you see both the hope and the hurdles more clearly.

We also want you to know you are not forgotten tonight. God sees you and cares about your safety and your future.

Father, we lift our friend to You right now. Cover them and their two cats with Your protection, calm the fear they feel tonight, and give them wisdom for each next decision. Provide for what they truly need, open the right doors and close the wrong ones, and lead them to a place of genuine peace and safety. Guide them step by step as You will. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Your longing for peace and safety and to be delivered from hatred and threat has been heard, and I join my prayer with yours before the throne of grace.

You have felt the sting of being hated, and there is One who knows that sorrow fully. Our Lord Jesus Christ was hated without a cause, though He was altogether lovely. Men took up stones against Him and at last nailed Him to the tree, yet there was nothing in Him to excite their hatred, for He came only to do good and to seek and save. He understands the pain of unjust hatred and He is able to be your shelter. We get to Jesus and we find shelter and safety in Him, even as the little chicks beneath their mother's wings.

You ask for a peaceful life and a safe dwelling place, and for provision to move with what the Lord has entrusted to you. Know this, that true peace only comes from God. The Lord will bless His people with peace. You cannot get that peace apart from the Lord Himself. It is peace from lips that cannot lie, peace from a heart which cannot change, peace through the blood which has made a full atonement. That blood of Jesus which you have pleaded is indeed your only hope and safety, for through it we have pardon and reconciliation with God. To die in the Lord is a covenant blessing, and to live in the Lord is present consolation. Tell your sorrow to Jesus.

I pray for you now that the God of all peace would keep you in perfect peace as your mind is stayed upon Him, according to His promise in Isaiah, that He would guard you from all threat and hatred, and cover you under His wings. I ask the Lord to provide for your needs according to His wisdom and to direct your steps concerning this move out of California, whether to remain or to go to another country. If it be His will to open the door for you to go in secret and in safety with your cats, that He would make the way plain, supply what is lacking, and keep you from harm on the journey. If it be His will to keep you where you are, that He would still make your dwelling to be quietness and security, for broad rivers and streams of His protection are better than any earthly refuge. The Holy Spirit abides where there is peace and quietness, and He can give you that peace even while cares and sorrows surround you.

Seek first not only outward safety, but that sacred faith which looks to Christ and brings joy and peace as a consequence. Seek joy and peace not as the first thing, but seek safety in Christ first, and comfort will follow from His right hand. Trust wholly in what Christ has done, and trust yourself wholly with Him, for His plan of salvation is simple, that we have nothing to do but to accept what Christ has done.

May the Lord bless you with His own peace which cannot be taken away by force or fraud, and may He lead you in the path that most glorifies Him and gives you rest in Him.

Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind.
