Disciple of Prayer
I thank God for my recovery from right hip replacement. It was not too painful. I am currently experiencing pain in my left glute making it hard to sit. Also, I cannot sleep since my RA is flaring in my shoulders and starting to affect my knees. By the grace of God, I can make it 8 hrs at work, but once I get home the pain gets pretty intense. I also have developed several calluses on my feet and heel that are very painful. I am praying for pain relief so I can get some sleep and not require additional surgeries. Scheduled for cataract surgery in April. Please pray for complete healing. Thank you God for gearing me through the day. In Jesus name we pray! Amen

We come before the Lord with hearts full of compassion and faith, lifting you up in prayer as you endure these physical trials. Your gratitude for God’s sustaining grace is a powerful testimony, and we join you in thanking Him for carrying you through each day. The pain you describe—sciatica, rheumatoid arthritis flares, and the burden of calluses—is not overlooked by our Heavenly Father, who sees every tear and hears every groan. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, you *are* healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand in agreement for your complete restoration.

Father God, we ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand over every area of affliction. For the sciatic pain radiating through the left glute, we pray for the nerves to be soothed and the inflammation to subside. Your Word says, *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3). Release the grip of pain that steals sleep and peace, Lord. For the shoulders and knees tormented by rheumatoid arthritis, we rebuke the spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ name. You did not give us a spirit of fear or weakness, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Strengthen the joints, reduce the swelling, and restore mobility so that work and rest are no longer a battle.

We also lift the painful calluses on your feet, Lord. You know every step we take, and You promise to *"keep the feet of Your saints"* (1 Samuel 2:9). Soften the hardened areas, bring relief to the pressure points, and let Your healing flow from the soles of the feet to the crown of the head. As you prepare for cataract surgery in April, we pray for perfect outcomes—clear vision, swift recovery, and no complications. Your Word declares, *"The eyes of the blind shall be opened"* (Isaiah 35:5), and we claim that promise over you.

Father, we ask for supernatural endurance to finish each workday without being overcome by pain afterward. Give wisdom to your doctors and nurses as they care for you, and let every treatment or therapy be guided by Your hand. Above all, draw near to this beloved child of Yours in the quiet moments when pain feels overwhelming. Remind them that You are the God who *"counts the number of the stars"* and yet *"heals all [their] diseases"* (Psalm 103:3). May they feel Your presence like a warm embrace, bringing comfort that surpasses understanding.

We also encourage you to lean into the community of believers for practical support—whether it’s help with tasks that aggravate your pain or simply someone to pray with you in person. Isolation can magnify suffering, but God designed us to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2). Consider asking your church or small group to anoint you with oil and pray over you, as James 5:14-15 instructs, for the prayer of faith will save the sick.

Lastly, we want to gently remind you that while physical healing is a precious gift, God’s ultimate purpose is to conform you to the image of Christ (Romans 8:28-29). Even in this trial, He is working for your good. If the pain persists, ask Him to reveal what He wants to teach you through it—whether it’s deeper dependence on Him, greater compassion for others, or patience in waiting for His perfect timing. You are not forgotten, and your faith in the midst of this storm is a fragrant offering to the Lord.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Great Physician, who bore our infirmities and carried our sorrows. Amen.

We're here with you, dear friend, feeling your pain and standing in the gap with you. We've been thinking about you and wanted to add our voices to the prayers already lifted up on your behalf.

First off, we want to echo the thanks you've expressed to God for your recovery so far. What a journey you've been on, and we're in awe of your strength and resilience. We know that pain can be exhausting, both physically and emotionally, but we're reminded of Paul's words in 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." We claim this promise over you today, knowing that God's strength is made perfect in your weakness.

We're going to focus our prayers on the areas that are causing you the most discomfort right now. For your sciatica pain, we ask for relief and healing in Jesus' name. We envision those nerves being soothed and the inflammation subsiding, allowing you to sit comfortably and move with ease. We also pray for a good night's sleep, asking God to grant you rest and peace, even in the midst of your pain.

For your rheumatoid arthritis, we declare that the God who created your body also has the power to heal it. We ask for a reduction in swelling, increased mobility, and strength in your shoulders and knees. We believe that as you trust in Him, you will experience supernatural healing and relief.

We haven't forgotten about those painful calluses on your feet. We ask God to soften those hardened areas and bring relief to your pressure points. We want you to be able to walk comfortably, feeling His healing from the soles of your feet to the crown of your head.

As you prepare for your cataract surgery in April, we pray for perfect outcomes - clear vision, swift recovery, and no complications. We claim the promise in Isaiah 35:5, "Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf unstopped."

We also want to encourage you to keep your heart and mind focused on Jesus. In the quiet moments when pain feels overwhelming, we pray that you would sense His presence like a warm embrace, bringing comfort that surpasses understanding. Remember, He is always with you, carrying your burdens, and working all things together for your good.

Let's keep lifting you up in prayer, dear friend. We're here for you, and we believe that God is too. Keep trusting, keep fighting, and keep praising Him, no matter what. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
