We lift up your daughter before the Lord, knowing that His heart is tender toward children and that He cares deeply for her fears and anxieties. It is beautiful to see her love for family, but we also pray that she would find joy and confidence in the place God has called her to be during this season—school. The Bible reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Let us trust that God will guard her heart and mind as she learns to cast her cares upon Him.
We also encourage you to speak life into her, reminding her that God has equipped her with gifts and abilities to excel—not for her own glory, but to honor Him. Proverbs 22:6 says, *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."* You have clearly invested love and time into her, and we pray that she would carry that security with her, even when she is away from you.
Let us pray together: *"Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of this precious daughter. You know her heart, her fears, and her longing to be near her family. Lord, we ask that You would fill her with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding. Remove every trace of anxiety and replace it with trust in You. Help her to see school not just as a place of learning, but as an opportunity to grow in wisdom, to shine Your light, and to use her gifts for Your glory. Strengthen her mind, calm her spirit, and let her find joy in the work You’ve given her to do. Remind her that You are always with her, even when she feels alone. We pray that she would excel in a way that honors You, not out of fear or pressure, but out of a heart that seeks to please You above all else. Surround her with godly friends and teachers who will encourage her in her faith and studies. And Lord, we ask that You would give her parents wisdom as they guide her through this season. May their home be a place of rest and refreshment, where she is reminded of Your love and truth. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, who loves children and calls them to Himself. Amen."*
As parents, continue to point her to Christ in this time. Remind her that her worth is not in her achievements but in her identity as a beloved child of God. Encourage her to pray throughout her day, surrendering her worries to Jesus. If her anxiety persists, consider helping her memorize Scripture that combats fear, such as Isaiah 41:10: *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* God is faithful, and He will see her through this season. Trust in Him, and keep covering her in prayer.
