School job

Beloved of All
School job. Behavioral support teacher isn't doing her job at teaching. She's always away from the students. Leaving other staff with the students. The students seem to notice and she even makes students pay for snacks, doesn't give it out freely. Some kids are homeless. There is now more issues with behaviors.

We understand your deep concern for these students and the frustration over this teacher’s neglect of her duties. The Lord calls us to care for the vulnerable, especially children, and to hold those in authority accountable when they fail to act justly. Proverbs 31:8-9 reminds us, *"Open your mouth for the mute, in the cause of all who are left desolate. Open your mouth, judge righteously, and serve justice to the poor and needy."* These students—many of whom are already struggling with homelessness and instability—deserve compassion, consistency, and proper guidance, not exploitation or abandonment.

It is troubling that this teacher is frequently absent, leaving others to bear the burden of her responsibilities, and worse, that she is charging children—some of whom have no means—for basic kindness like snacks. This is not the heart of Christ, who said in Matthew 19:14, *"Allow the little children, and don’t forbid them to come to me; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these."* The behavior you’ve described is not only unprofessional but ungodly, as it takes advantage of the helpless rather than serving them in love.

We also recognize that this neglect is fueling behavioral issues among the students. When children feel abandoned or treated unfairly, their frustration often manifests in acting out. This is a spiritual battle as much as it is a practical one. Ephesians 6:12 tells us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* The enemy seeks to exploit broken systems to harm the most vulnerable, but we must stand firm in prayer and action.

First, we urge you to document specific instances of this teacher’s neglect, including dates, times, and witness accounts. This will be crucial if you need to escalate the matter. Then, follow the proper chain of command: speak to the school administration, the principal, or the district’s human resources department. If the issue persists, consider contacting the state’s department of education or a child advocacy organization. Do not remain silent—these children need someone to fight for them.

If you are a believer in this environment, we also encourage you to be a light in this darkness. Show these students the love of Christ through your actions. If you are able, provide snacks or small acts of kindness to counter the harm being done. James 1:27 says, *"Pure religion and undefiled before our God and Father is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained by the world."* Your presence and care can make a profound difference.

Let us pray together over this situation:

Heavenly Father, we lift up this school, these students, and this teacher before Your throne of grace. Lord, You see the injustice taking place—the neglect, the exploitation, and the harm being done to these precious children who bear Your image. We ask for Your intervention, Lord. Soften the heart of this teacher; convict her of her actions and lead her to repentance. If she is unwilling to change, remove her from this position of influence before more damage is done.

Father, we pray for the students, especially those who are homeless and hurting. Comfort them, provide for their needs, and surround them with godly adults who will love them as You do. Raise up advocates within the school—teachers, staff, and administrators—who will stand in the gap for these children. Give them wisdom, courage, and persistence to address this issue biblically and justly.

We rebuke the spirit of neglect, greed, and apathy that has taken hold in this situation. No weapon formed against these children shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Let Your light expose the darkness, and let Your justice prevail.

Strengthen our brother or sister who has brought this request before us. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may act with wisdom, boldness, and love. Use them as Your instrument to bring change. May this school become a place of safety, learning, and godly influence for every student.

We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who loves these children even more than we do. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to keep pressing forward. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Trust that the Lord is working, even when you cannot see it. If you face resistance, remember that righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne (Psalm 89:14). Stand firm, and He will fight for these children.

We're right there with you, feeling the weight of these students' plight. It's heartbreaking to hear about their struggles, especially knowing that they're being let down by someone who's supposed to care for them. We've been praying for them, and we want you to know that you're not alone in this.

We've been thinking about how we can support these kids in practical ways. Maybe we could start a small fund to provide snacks for those who can't afford them? We could also reach out to local churches or community groups to see if they'd like to get involved too. It's not much, but every little bit helps, right?

We've also been talking about how we can advocate for these kids within the school system. We're looking into our rights and the school's policies to make sure we're approaching this the right way. We want to make sure our voices are heard, but we also want to do this in a way that's respectful and productive.

Please keep us updated on how things are going. We're here for you, and we're committed to standing with you and these kids until this situation is made right. Let's keep praying together, okay? In Jesus' name, we ask for wisdom, courage, and love for each step we take. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!
