I had my apartment recertification last week and I haven't heard anything back yet. Please pray nothing bad happens and everything works out in my favor. Please pray that me and my son don't lose our apartment and that God went before me and prepared everything in my favor and favor with the apartment management. Please pray that God's favor, mercy and grace are over me in the decision and we are ok

We have heard your heart and we join with you in prayer for you and your son during this anxious time of waiting after your recertification. We understand the fear of not knowing and the weight of wanting to provide a stable home for your child, and we bring your burden before our Heavenly Father together.

The Lord knows your need for shelter and security and He calls us not to be consumed by fear. He says, Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 We also cling to His promise that He goes before His children, Yahweh himself is who goes before you. He will be with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid. Do not be dismayed. Deuteronomy 31:8 And again, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1

We want to gently share with you that you spoke of God but did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your request. We share this in love because it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, confessing Him as Lord, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 It is in His name we pray and have confidence that God hears us.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and lift up this dear mother and her son to You. Lord, You see her anxiety and You know the outcome of this recertification even before we ask. We pray that You would go before her and prepare the way, that Your favor, mercy and grace would rest upon her and upon the decision being made by the apartment management. We ask that You would grant her favor in their eyes and that if it is Your will, this home would be preserved for her and her son. Give her Your perfect peace that guards her heart while she waits, and cast out all fear, for You have said do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10 Help her to seek Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be given to her as well. Matthew 6:33 Provide for all her needs according to Your riches in glory, and help her to rest in the truth that we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 Let her feel Your presence as her refuge and provider in Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to cast all your worries on Him, because He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 While you wait, continue to trust Him day by day, pray with thanksgiving, and if appropriate, you may follow up respectfully with management to ensure they have all they need. We are trusting with you that God, who is faithful and who has promised never to leave us nor forsake us. Hebrews 13:5, will carry you and your son through this, whatever the outcome, and that His grace will be sufficient for you.

We hear how heavy this waiting feels, especially with your son depending on you and no word yet after your recertification. It makes sense you are feeling scared, and we are standing with you in prayer.

Waiting without answers can make every day feel uncertain. We pray you can have moments of rest even while the decision is still pending, knowing God sees you and your son and cares about your needs.

One small step that sometimes eases the uncertainty is to reach out once to the management office just to confirm they have everything they need and to ask what the usual timeline is for a decision. Keeping a copy of what you submitted and noting who you spoke with can bring a little more peace while you wait. If you have a caseworker or housing contact, they may also be able to clarify what to expect.

Father, we lift this mother and her son to You. We ask for Your peace to guard their hearts in this waiting, for clarity and kindness in the process with management, and for provision for their home. Give wisdom for any next steps and help them sense Your nearness and care each day. We trust them into Your hands in Jesus' name, amen.

Fear not is a plant which grows very plentifully in God's garden, and the Lord has planted it for such an hour as this when your heart is troubled. What time I am afraid, says the Psalmist, I will trust in Thee, and that is your wisdom now. You have felt that fear which makes the heart tremble lest earthly provision should fail, and lest you and your son should be without a dwelling, but the Lord Himself whispers to His poor servant, Fear not, for I am with thee, be not dismayed for I am thy God, Fear not, I will help thee.

We must labor to get rid, as much as possible, of fear, for fear is weakening and fear dishonors God. Shall we think that the arm which piled the heavens and sustains the pillars of the earth shall be palsied when His child cries to Him for daily bread and shelter. The Christian has God's promise for it. He believes that Book to be God's Book, and when he finds God saying anything in that Book to him, he believes it to be true. God has promised His people that if they trust Him they shall lack no good thing. Drive out all unbelief, and leave your affairs in God's hands, trusting not in your own strength or in favor alone, but in the mercy of God which is shown to us in Christ Jesus.

We have lifted you and your son before the throne of grace, and we will continue to pray that the Lord in His loving kindness, both in His ordinary and extraordinary dealings, will show you His marvelous loving kindness. We ask that He would go before you in this recertification, that He would grant you favor with the management, and that His mercy and grace would rest upon the decision. We pray that He would provide a secure home for you and your son, and that He would give you peace to trust His wise and holy will, knowing that where He begins a work He does not ask us to finish, but He perfects it.

May the Lord who has taught you from your youth, and who has kept you even when chastened, now cause you to declare His wondrous works, and may you find that perfect trust casts out fear, for Jesus Himself says, Fear not. May His will be done, and may you be kept in His care, resting near His right hand among the tempests, and finding Him to be your help and your keeper.

Your request has been heard and I am praying with you and for your son in this time of waiting and fear.

I ask God to have mercy and to show His grace and favor over you in this recertification process, that what is needed for your home to be secure would be provided, and that you would find favor with the apartment management. I pray that the Lord who sees all things and is present with you in every moment would go before you and make the way clear, and that you and your son would remain safely housed.

I also pray that God would lift the weight of anxiety from your heart and give you peace while you wait. Scripture teaches us to cast our cares on Him because He cares for us, and to work out our lives before Him with reverent trust, knowing that it is God who works in us both to will and to act according to His good purpose. He knows your need for daily provision and shelter, and He calls us to trust Him not only for these necessities but most of all for the care of our souls.

May the Lord grant you calm confidence in His goodness, steady your heart with hope, and provide for you according to His wisdom and love. May you sense His nearness each day, rest in His care, and know that you are not forgotten.
