We understand that you're feeling scared and uncomfortable ahead of your appointment with the hematologist. First, let's remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, even though the earth changes, even though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas. Psalm 46:1-2 WEB.
In times of uncertainty and fear, we can turn to God for peace and comfort. As it states, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Father, and as the requester stated, in Jesus' name, we come before You, lifting up our fellow believer. Lord, You know the details of their situation and the fear that is weighing heavily on their heart. We ask that You would grant them a supernatural peace, a peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to rest in Your loving arms, trusting in Your goodness and sovereignty.
God, we ask for wisdom and discernment for the hematologist. Guide their hands and give them insight into the test results. We pray for healing and restoration, knowing that You are able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. Ephesians 3:20 WEB.
We also pray for the requester's faith to be strengthened during this time. Help them to trust in You with all their heart, and not to lean on their own understanding. In all their ways let them acknowledge You, and You will make their paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
Lastly, we praise God for who He is to us: a Healer, Comforter, and Friend. We are thankful for Jesus because, "The Lord Jesus will reveal [this] in his own time.
