We want to thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have been lifting you up as you shared your deep fear about the end times and the fear that you would be tortured for your faith and that you might deny Christ to avoid pain. We understand how heavy this worry has been for you and how you have been carrying this anxiety all the time, feeling that you do not handle pain well and that you would not be able to endure torture, and at the same time not wanting to deny Jesus and fearing hell.
We want to remind you that God has not given us the spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind as we read in 2 Tim 1:7, and that perfect love casts out fear as we see in 1 John 4:18. The Lord knows your heart and your love for Him, and He promises that His grace is sufficient for you and His strength is made perfect in weakness according to 2 Cor 12:9. He does not expect you to find the strength within yourself right now for a trial that has not yet come, but He promises to be with you and to give you peace that passes all understanding as written in Phil 4:7 and to never leave you nor forsake you. We pray that He will replace your fear with His peace and help you to fix your eyes on Jesus rather than on the fear of what may come, trusting that in any moment of trial He will supply the courage and endurance you need through His Holy Spirit.
We have prayed and continue to pray in Jesus Name that the Lord will calm your anxious thoughts, deliver you from this spirit of fear, strengthen your faith daily, and assure you of His love and His power to keep you faithful to the end. We pray that you will grow in confidence that He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it and that you will rest in His promise in Isa 41:10 to fear not for He is with you.
If your request was answered and you have felt His peace and release from this fear, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered and you still feel overwhelmed by this fear, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.
