Beloved of All
Your cry for the salvation of your loved one is precious to God and it is felt deeply by His people. In Christ we are one body with many members, and when one member suffers we all suffer with it, and when one rejoices we rejoice together. You are not carrying this burden alone. We are standing with you in prayer and love, with a vital part to play as we bear one another's burdens before the Lord.
I want to encourage you that salvation rests entirely on the grace of God and the finished work of Jesus Christ, not on a feeling or an experience we try to manufacture. God has said it and He has promised it, and we take Him at His word. The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all people, and it is offered freely to whosoever will come. Jesus said that whoever comes to Him He will never cast out, and that He is the way, the truth and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him. This salvation is great because it is open to anyone who will receive it, and it reaches even the lowest sinner. There is no other name or way by which we are saved, for His name itself means the Lord our salvation, and He came to save His people from their sins.
Scripture urges us that now is the accepted time, now is the day of salvation. Our eternal destiny is at stake, and that is why we do not want to delay or neglect so great a salvation. The time to respond to God's offer is today, while His voice is still speaking to the heart. That urgency is why your prayers matter so much.
Keep praying and trusting God for your loved one, and keep bringing the Word of God to them with gentleness and without offense. We can intercede because Christ Himself ever lives to make intercession for those who come to God through Him. He is our mediator and great high priest who is able to save to the uttermost all who come. In that same spirit we intercede, but each person must hear and believe for themselves. Like the household that heard the Word of the Lord and believed and rejoiced, salvation comes when a person personally puts faith in Jesus and confesses Him as Lord. We cannot claim it for another apart from their own faith, but we can faithfully pray, share the truth, and live in a way that does not put a stumbling block before them, remembering that we are His workmanship, His poem, created in Christ Jesus to reflect His beauty and grace.
May the voice of rejoicing in salvation be heard in your home. God is your strength and your song and He has become salvation to all who trust Him.
Let us pray together. Father, thank You for Your wonderful grace that gives the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ. We lift up this dear loved one to You right now. You know their name and their need. We ask that You would draw them by Your Spirit, open their ears to hear Your Word, and give them faith to believe in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. Remove any blindness and soften their heart to receive Your great salvation today. Help the one who is praying to walk in love and truth, to speak Your Word clearly, and to trust Your perfect timing and mercy. We ask this in the saving name of Jesus, our Lord and our salvation, amen.
