Dear Lord Jesus, The friend of mine is having dinner with a coworker of his so he really trusts and looks out for him. Please make sure that the dinner goes well and see this job that people on the board like respect him and lots of people other departments respect him, but this guy really respects the more close area. Pleas be a solution to saucing his occupation. In Jesus Name Amen.

We join you in lifting up your friend and this dinner with his coworker before the Lord and we thank you for bringing this request to Jesus, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father.

We pray together for this time of fellowship, that the Lord would grant peace and grace over the conversation and that it would be encouraging and strengthening for both of them. We ask that God would use this coworker who trusts and looks out for your friend as a source of support and wise counsel in the workplace. We pray that the Lord would continue to establish the work of your friend's hands and cause his good character and diligence to be seen.

We are reminded of the truth in Colossians 3:23 Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, and in Proverbs 16:3 Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established. We take comfort knowing that true promotion and respect do not come from man alone, for Psalm 75:6-7 says For neither from the east, nor from the west, nor yet from the south, comes exaltation. But God is the judge. He puts down one, and lifts up another. If God has placed your friend in this occupation, He is able to secure it and sustain him there.

We pray that God would be the solution for any uncertainty surrounding his job, that He would grant favor with the board and with those in other departments as well as in his closer circle, and that your friend would walk in humility and integrity so that his life would reflect Christ. We pray he would trust not in the favor of men alone but in the Lord, for Proverbs 3:5-6 says Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

Father, we ask in the name of Jesus that You bless this dinner, that it goes well and is filled with kindness and mutual respect. We ask that You guard your friend's occupation, provide stability, open doors that no man can shut, and let his work bring glory to You. May he find his ultimate security and identity in You. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

Thank you for caring enough about your friend to bring this dinner before the Lord. We can hear how much you want it to go well for him, and how you have noticed both the broad respect he carries in other departments and on the board, and how important this closer working relationship is.

Your heart for his evening to be relaxed and genuine, and for his occupation to have stability and clear direction, is a kind and faithful way to stand with him. It makes sense you would want God to be near both the small details of the meal and the bigger questions about his work.

One simple way to support him is to send a brief encouraging note before the dinner letting him know you are praying for a calm, good conversation, and then check in afterward just to listen to how it went. Knowing someone is quietly in his corner without pressure on the outcome can be a real gift.

We are joining you in prayer for him.

Father, in Jesus name we lift up this friend and this dinner to you. Give him peace beforehand and wisdom and kindness in the conversation. Let him sense your presence with him at the table and in his workplace. Guide his next steps and show him what is right for his occupation, and give our friend who prayed the words to encourage him well. We trust you with what comes next. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have carried your request to the throne of grace and join you in prayer for your friend and for this dinner with his trusted coworker.

We ask the Lord in His kindness to give peace and wisdom around that table, that conversation may be seasoned with grace and that fellowship may be for good. As you have asked, we pray that the Lord would grant your friend favor in his occupation, that his labor may be done heartily as unto the Lord and not unto men, and that the respect he has found among the board and among other departments may be continued and increased by honest diligence and integrity.

We are reminded of Job, who though tried and brought very low, found that God had not forgotten him, and in due time the Lord turned his captivity when he prayed for his friends. So we pray that your friend may know the Lord's sustaining hand in his daily calling, that he may walk uprightly, trust not in the praise of men but in the favor of God, and see his work established by Providence.

Above all we pray that both you and your friend may look to Jesus Christ alone for salvation and strength, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and that in all things you may seek first His kingdom and righteousness, trusting that He will add what is needful.

May the Lord grant wisdom for every decision concerning this work, keep your friend in His care, and make this dinner an occasion of encouragement and true help. We commend these things to our gracious Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

It is good that you have brought your friend and his needs before the Lord, and that you care for his work and his friendships with such kindness.

We join you in praying that God will be present at this dinner, that the conversation will be gracious and wise, and that it will strengthen a trustworthy working relationship. We pray that your friend will speak and listen well, and that the time together will be encouraging to both of them.

We also pray for his occupation. Scripture shows that honest work of many kinds can be done to the glory of God and is no hindrance to virtue when done faithfully. We ask that God will give your friend diligence and integrity in his daily tasks, and that He will grant him favor where it is needed. You mention that many on the board and in other departments respect him, and that this coworker respects him in his closer area of work. We pray that God will continue to establish him in good character and competence, so that respect will be well grounded.

True security does not come from position or from the approval of others, but from walking faithfully with Christ. We pray that your friend will find his confidence and peace in the Lord, and that whether he faces favor or difficulty at work, he will remain steady and hopeful. May God provide what is needed to sustain and secure his work according to His wisdom and provision.

We pray that the Lord will guide his steps, guard this friendship, and lead him in the path that is best for his soul and for his service to others. In the name of Jesus Christ we ask for grace, wisdom and peace for your friend. Amen.

Your care for your friend and for his work comes through so clearly in this prayer, and it is good that you have brought it to the Lord Jesus.

The story of Job reminds us that even though cultures and workplaces change, the deep needs and worries of the heart remain the same. Long ago a man who loved God and turned away from evil faced great loss and confusion, and the things he cried out about are the same things we still bring to God today. What we learn from his life is for our benefit, to show us that God has not forsaken us and that He understands what we are going through even when we do not understand our circumstances.

Scripture pulls back the curtain and shows that God Himself took notice of Job and spoke well of him, while the adversary had been watching him closely and had formed ideas about him, claiming he only served God because he had been so blessed. The Lord had placed a hedge around him, and nothing could touch him apart from God's allowance. In the same way, God sees your friend, He sees the integrity that has earned him respect among those who oversee his work and among people in other departments, and He sees the value of this closer, trusted relationship with his coworker. That respect is not overlooked by the Lord.

Job did not understand why his hardships came, and his friends could not give him the answers he needed. Their counsel was often misguided, but Job himself learned that a right relationship with God is one of complete trust and commitment, even when trouble remains. At one point he declared that even if his trials became heavier, he would still trust God. That is the place God brings us to as well, when we want explanations and He gently calls us simply to trust Him.

So we pray with you for this dinner, that the conversation would be gracious and encouraging and that it would strengthen a good and trustworthy working relationship. We ask the Lord to continue to give your friend favor and wisdom in his occupation, to be his strength and his solution in every practical need, and to make his work a testimony of faithfulness. When we do not see the full picture at work or in our friendships, we can rest in knowing that God is sovereign, that He counts faith as righteousness as He did for Abraham and for Job, and that He brings His purposes to a good end.

May the Lord grant peace to you as you intercede for your friend, and may He guide your friend's steps, guard his heart, and provide for every need in his job according to His wisdom and grace in Jesus Christ.
