My wife and I have been married for 2 1/2 years. She is a Christian but not a strong one. I had neglected my wife and focused all my energy and time on a side business that I had going. I was convinced that I was doing the best thing for both of us. I had been mistreating my wife and not giving her the love and respect that she deserved. She just started a new job 4 weeks ago and when she started this job she became very cold towards me. By the end of 2 weeks I no longer knew my wife. She had hardened her heart to me. A large fight broke out between us and I said some very mean and hurtful things to her. Things that she states now cannot be fixed. She says she loves me but not the same way. She doesn't know if she wants to try and fix our marriage. She has left and now has an apartment of her own. She has been communicating with me some but only by texting. She has started dating already too. I know that my actions as the leader of our home has damaged our marriage. I have confessed and repented of my sins to God and to my wife. My wife still has not forgiven me. I believe in my marriage. I believe with all of my heart that God wants us to be together. I also believe that this whole situation is a test for both of us. I am not ready to give up on my wife. I have been doing everything in my power to fight for her. I have spent countless nights in prayer for God to soften her heart and to let her see what it is she is supposed to do. I ask for you all to pray for my wife ###. Pray that God shows her that 2 wrongs don't make a right. Show her how to love me again. Show her that marriage takes work. I am so sorry for my sins against her. I am a humble man because of this. I am forever changed....but I need her to see it. I need her to realize that the right thing to do is to stick by her man and work through this. Please pray for her to soften her heart and to make the right decision.

Lord,

You restore all things, I pray you intervene in your child's situation and restore this marriage once more. I pray you turn ###'s heart back to her husband and her marriage.

I pray you bring both couples back to you as well that they will worship you as Lord and Savior. Fight for this marriage and give them a testimony of deliverance and restoration.

Nothing is impossible for you, God. Restore their marriage and make them stronger than before that they may praise your name.

God bless you ###. I pray that as you apply the principles of God in your life it will give wisdom and understanding for your marriage and relationship. The world says "sticks and stones can break my bones but words can't hurt me". As you know that is a lie. The word of God says "there is life and death in the tongue". Words can tear one down or build one up. A woman wants, needs to feel secure, protected, comforted, provided for, respected and loved. But when the opposite is demonstrated especially in a marriage, she loses trust and confidence and that is very important.

Recognizing where she is emotionally and asking her to forgive you will help her in being healed emotionally and spiritually. Also looking at yourself to see what state you were in emotionally to come to that place to say unkind words to her. (words too are destructive weapons, mass destruction) You know when Adam & Eve messed up, God went after them and forgave them. He always forgives.

### this is what the word of God says: "husband love your wife as Christ loves the church and lay down His life for the church". To love your wife as Christ loves the church, you must and need to be connected to Jesus Christ. To be connected to Christ, you must and need to be born again. Do this for yourself, say this prayer: Father, I believe that You sent Jesus to die for my sins and reconcile me to You. I believe that Jesus Christ rose from the dead. Wash my sins away, teach me to be the man You created me to be. I surrender myself to You in Jesus name.

Father I pray for healing for ###'s wife and that You will take her through the process of her pain may she return to you and find comfort in you. Father establish her in you. Father send her older Christian woman who will encourage her and help her to come closer in faith to you. Father I pray for ### too for You to send a godly man to witness about you to him and for him to be discipled in your words...### please get yourself a Bible. God bless you again.
