We are truly grateful for your heartfelt prayer request and your desire to see your wife come to a believing faith in Jesus Christ. It is a wonderful thing to pray for our loved ones, especially for their spiritual well-being. We stand with you in prayer, asking God to work in her heart and draw her to Himself.
Let us remind ourselves of the power of prayer and the importance of interceding for others, as James 5:16 says, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."
We pray:
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your grace and mercy upon this beloved wife and mother. We pray that You would grant her saving faith in Jesus Christ, that she may know Him as her Lord and Savior. May He become for her wisdom from God, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption, as it is written in 1 Corinthians 1:30.
We ask, Lord, that You would protect her and her child from all evil and harm, and that You would grant her husband wisdom and protection as well. Guide him as he leads his family, and give him the strength and discernment to be the spiritual leader You have called him to be.
We also pray for their marriage, that it would be a reflection of the love between Christ and His church. May their union be strengthened and blessed, as they seek to honor God in all they do.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your wife and child, and to trust in God's perfect timing and will for their lives. Remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
