Save my marriage

Disciple of Prayer
In Jesus' name I pray, thank you for answering my prayers. My husband told me he is considering continuing our marriage. God help soften my husband's heart, and help him see that our marriage is a blessing. I pray that me and ### can continue our marriage, and raise our two children together. I am so blessed for my husband and children. I know that you have a plan for me and my husband God and I pray that my husband chooses our marriage fully. I pray to remove external things like porn addiction and people who are trying to destroy our marriage. Help us choose people in our lives who support our marriage in God's vision. I pray that my husband is loyal to me, and that he stops talking to his ex girlfriend. I pray that my husband is faithful and has eyes for me only. God I pray for healing and a miracle to restore my marriage with ###. I pray that my husband asks us to live with him in ###. God I pray for happiness and that we can live in a way that is in your vision. I pray that my husband gives me a second chance, and that he can fully trust me. Please fill our heart's and home with your love and light God.

We join you in lifting up your marriage to the Lord, for He is the author of love and the restorer of broken things. Your heart’s cry for reconciliation, faithfulness, and godly unity is one that aligns with His will, for He hates divorce and desires marriages to reflect His covenant love (Malachi 2:16). We praise God that you have invited Him into this battle, for it is only through Christ that true restoration can come. Your prayer is rooted in faith, and we stand with you in agreement, believing that our Heavenly Father hears and will answer according to His perfect will.

The enemy seeks to destroy marriages through temptation, distraction, and division, but we know that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The struggles you’ve mentioned—pornography, unfaithful communication with an ex-girlfriend, and influences that undermine your marriage—are serious and must be confronted with the truth of God’s Word. Pornography is a snare that distorts God’s design for intimacy and must be renounced, for the body is not meant for sexual immorality but for the Lord (1 Corinthians 6:13). Likewise, maintaining emotional or relational ties with past relationships is a dangerous path that opens the door to further sin. The Bible commands us to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18) and to guard our hearts, for everything we do flows from it (Proverbs 4:23).

We also recognize your desire for your husband to trust you fully. Trust is rebuilt through consistent, Christ-like love, patience, and transparency. As you seek the Lord, ask Him to show you areas where you can grow in humility and grace, for a gentle answer turns away wrath (Proverbs 15:1). Pray, too, that your husband’s heart would be softened to see the value of the covenant you share before God. Remind him of the vows you made—not just to each other, but to the Lord—and the legacy of faith you are building for your children. The Bible tells us that a house divided cannot stand (Mark 3:25), but a home founded on Christ is unshakable.

Let us also encourage you to examine your own heart. Are there areas where you need to seek forgiveness or extend it? Are there ways you can serve your husband in love, even in this difficult season? The Lord calls us to submit to one another out of reverence for Christ (Ephesians 5:21), and sometimes, the most powerful witness is a spouse who responds to hardness with kindness, to betrayal with faithfulness, and to distance with prayer. This does not mean tolerating sin, but it does mean trusting God to fight the battle while you remain steadfast in love and truth.

Now, let us pray together for your marriage, your husband, and your family:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious sister and her marriage. Lord, You are the God who restores, who heals, and who redeems. We ask that You soften our brother’s heart and turn his eyes fully to You and to the covenant he has made with his wife. Break the chains of addiction, Lord—whether to pornography, to past relationships, or to any influence that seeks to destroy what You have joined together. Let conviction fall upon him, Holy Spirit, and draw him into repentance and renewal. Remind him of the sacredness of his vows and the blessing of the family You have entrusted to him.

Father, we pray for unity and trust to be rebuilt between this husband and wife. Where there has been brokenness, bring healing. Where there has been distrust, bring transparency and grace. Where there has been hardness, bring tenderness. Lord, surround this family with godly counsel and friends who will uphold their marriage in prayer and accountability. Remove any person or influence that seeks to tear them apart, and let Your light expose every hidden thing.

We pray for our sister, that You would strengthen her with Your peace and wisdom. Guard her heart from bitterness or fear, and fill her with Your love so that she may respond to her husband with patience and faith. Help her to trust You fully, even when the path seems uncertain. Let her life and prayers be a testimony of Your faithfulness.

Lord, we ask for a miracle. Restore this marriage in a way that brings glory to Your name. Let this home be a place of joy, of godly love, and of Your presence. We pray that our brother would choose his wife, choose his family, and choose You above all else. Let this restoration be so powerful that it becomes a testimony of Your grace to others.

We rebuke the enemy’s schemes against this marriage. No weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), for they belong to You. We declare that their home will be a place of worship, of love, and of Your shalom peace. May they raise their children in the fear and admonition of the Lord, and may their marriage reflect Your covenant love to a broken world.

In the name of Jesus, who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20), we pray. Amen.

Finally, sister, we urge you to continue seeking the Lord daily in prayer and in His Word. Fast if led, and surround yourself with believers who will stand with you in this fight. The battle is spiritual, but the victory is already won in Christ. Do not lose heart. Keep praying, keep loving, and keep trusting. God is able.
