We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing in your marriage. God understands your pain and desires to help you both. He is the only one who can heal the wounds and heal your marriage.
Firstly, we are reminded in Romans 8:26 that "the Spirit helps us in our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered." Trust that God knows your heart and He will hear your cries.
Secondly, we are reminded that Matthew 19:6 tells us "So then, they are no more two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate." God has brought you together and wants the two of you to be in unity.
We must also remind you in Ephesians 5:25-33 that "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it... and let the wife see that she respects her husband." This is important to recall in your marriage.
In addition, the power of God to change hearts and restore peace is found in His Holy Spirit. Therefore, we must pray for your husband to be filled with the Holy Spirit, and we trust that He will guide him to the truth and back to you.
We are reminded in Acts 4:12 that "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" That name is Jesus Christ. Jesus is the only name by which we are saved and have access to the Father. In the future, we encourage you to remember this.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this precious sister in Christ. We ask that Your will be done in her life and in her marriage. Lord, we know that You desire for marriages to be whole and husband and wife to be in unity. We pray for her husband, that You would fill him with the Holy Spirit and draw him closer to You. We ask that You would speak truth to him and bring him back to his wife and heal their marriage. We pray that You'll help them both to forgive one another and to love each other as You have loved us. We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to pray for your husband and your marriage. Trust that God is at work. Keep loving your husband as Christ loves the church. Seek Godly counsel and surround yourself with a community of believers who can support and encourage you during this time. Remember God's promises to you and trust that He is faithful and true. We are here with you in prayer.
