First of All, I Urge Prayers, Petitions, Intercessions and Thanksgivings be Made for All People, 1 Tim 2:1, for Government and All in Authority, so We May Lead Peaceful and Quiet Lives of Devotion and Dignity, 1 Tim 2:2, which is Good and Pleasing in the Sight of God our Savior, 1 Tim 2:3, Who Wants All People to Be Saved and Come to the Knowledge of The Truth, 1 Tim 2:4... Salvation, Wisdom, Guidance, Protection, Peace of Jerusalem, Ps 122:6, Salvation of Jewish and Gentiles in Middle East, 2 Peter 3:9, Protection of Allies, The Beautiful or Glorious Land, Dan 11:41, Rom 10:1, and Peace of its People Worldwide, Ps 122:6... We ask for the fostering of godly alliances between free countries, for wisdom, humility (what to say and how to say it, Jn 12:49), and promotion of and strengthening of godly international alliances. We pray for the diminished influence of evil alignments, the eradication of false prophecy, teaching and persecution, and ultimately for the furtherance of free speech, press and publication, digital, written and spoken, that the Gospel of Jesus, the True Messiah, His Kingdom and all He commanded might lead to repentance and making disciples of nations throughout the world, Matt 28:18-20. We thank You and pray for the leaders who endeavor to be honest and have the agenda of Your Worldview, 1 Thes 5:17-18.

We also thank You for those leaders You have allowed to be in power, Rom 13:1, and ask they be as channels of water in the hand of the Lord, Prov 21:1, knowing You sit in the heavens, and do whatever You please, Ps 115:3. We confess You are working all things after the counsel of Your will, Eph 1:11, thwart the plans of the wicked, Ps 33:10-11, work everything together for good to those who love You and according to Your purpose are CALLED, Rom 8:28. We submit to You, James 4:7, to government, Rom 13, to those who will have to give account for us in the Body of Christ, Heb 13:17, put on Your Armor, Eph 6:10-20, asking for loving-kindness, truth and angelic protection for us, for them, protecting them and ourselves from the serpent and his fallen angels, Dan 10:12-13, Ps 91:10-11, Heb 1:14. Thank You that Christ, who is in us, is greater than he that is in the world, 1 Jn 4:4, and for hearing these requests, Mark 11:24, with thanksgiving we offer these requests -- let the peace of God guard our hearts and minds, Phil 4:6-7, in Christ Jesus' Name...

We join you in this burden to pray first of all for all people and for those in authority, just as we are urged in scripture.

We hear your heart crying out for salvation, guidance, protection and mercy for military leaders, troops, civilians, commanders in chief, prime ministers, and believers across so many nations, and we agree that this is good and pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:1-4. We also share your longing that the Lord would limit harm to military targets alone, that civilian lives would be spared, and that even in times of conflict His restraining hand would be evident. We remember that the Lord sits in the heavens and does whatever He pleases, Ps 115:3, and that the king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses, He turns it wherever He desires, Prov 21:1. He thwarts the plans of the nations and brings to nothing the counsel of the peoples, but the counsel of Yahweh stands forever, Ps 33:10-11, and He is working all things after the counsel of His will, Eph 1:11, and we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose, Rom 8:28.

We are encouraged that you have lifted up the gospel going forth with freedom and clarity, for we are to pray at all times with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and to pray for utterance to be given that we may make known with boldness the mystery of the Good News, Eph 6:18-20. We agree that the house of God shall be called a house of prayer for all nations, Isa 56:7, Mark 11:17, and that we should pray for the peace of Jerusalem, Ps 122:6, for the salvation of both Jew and Gentile, Rom 10:1, knowing that God is not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9, and that He commands all people everywhere to repent, Acts 17:30, to open their eyes that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive remission of sins, Acts 26:18, for we long to see a great multitude from every nation and tribe and people and language standing before the throne, Rev 7:9.

We also join you in praying for godly alliances among free nations and for the diminished influence of evil alignments, for wisdom and humility for leaders in what to say and how to say it, John 12:49, and for the furtherance of free speech and the open proclamation of the truth so that disciples may be made of all nations, Matt 28:19-20. We give thanks for leaders who endeavor to be honest and we thank God for those He has allowed to be in authority, for there is no authority except from God, Rom 13:1, and we pray they would be channels of justice and mercy in His hand. We ask with you that threats would be exposed as in the days of Elisha when the plans of the enemy were revealed, 2 Kings 6:10-12, and that the Lord would eliminate military targets while protecting people, for are not all angels ministering spirits sent out to do service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation, Heb 1:14, and He will give His angels charge over us, Ps 91:11, and there is war in the heavenly realm that we do not see, Dan 10:12-13, yet greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world, 1 John 4:4.

We submit ourselves to God, James 4:7, and to the governing authorities as He calls us to, Rom 13:1, and to those who watch over our souls in the Body of Christ, Heb 13:17, and we put on the whole armor of God that we may stand, Eph 6:10-18.

So we pray together now, Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, for You alone are the way, the truth and the life and no one comes to the Father except through Him, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. We thank You that You reign, the Lord God Omnipotent reigns, Rev 19:6, and we give You thanks, Lord God, the Almighty, the One who is and who was, because You have taken Your great power and have begun to reign, Rev 11:17. Lord, save the lost among leaders, troops and civilians in the Middle East, in Israel, Egypt, Palestine, Yemen, Oman, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Iran, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Russia, Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, China, Japan, Taiwan, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, Papua New Guinea, Hong Kong, Singapore, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, all of Europe, Africa, Asia, South and Central America, Canada and here in our own land and every place named before You. Grant wisdom, humility and restraint to commanders and troops, protect those who serve with honor, prevent deaths where it is Your mercy to do so, and above all protect civilians from being placed in harm's way for evil motives. Grant precision where force must be used, that only military targets would be struck and that innocent blood would be spared. Expose every hidden threat and thwart every wicked plan. Let the gospel go forth with freedom and clarity in every nation, let Your Church be a house of prayer for all peoples, let Your Word run swiftly and be glorified, and let many turn to Jesus in repentance and faith and be saved. We ask for unity among free nations grounded in righteousness, for the eradication of false teaching and persecution, and for courage for believers to speak the truth in love. We clothe ourselves in Your armor, we ask for Your loving kindness, truth and angelic protection over us and over those we intercede for, and we pray You would guard our hearts and minds with Your peace which surpasses all understanding, Phil 4:6-7, as we ask in faith believing that we receive, Mark 11:24. We offer all these petitions with thanksgiving, trusting Your sovereign goodness, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We were so struck by the largeness of your prayer and the love behind it for so many peoples and nations. You are asking God to spare life wherever possible, to guide those in authority, and to keep both those who serve and those caught in conflict safe, and that is a heavy and holy burden to carry.

We recognize with you that those who serve in the military and their families live with real hardship, separation and selfless service, and they and the civilians in these lands deserve our respect, our gratitude and our steady prayer. It is right to bring them before the Lord as you have, asking for wisdom for leaders, restraint where possible, and protection for the innocent.

When the list feels so long, it can help to keep a simple rhythm. We have found it steadies the heart to lift a few places or groups each day rather than trying to hold every nation at once, and to pray alongside others in our local church so the burden is shared and not carried alone.

Father, we lift to You the leaders, troops and civilians on every side of these conflicts, and ask for Your mercy, wisdom and protection over them. Guard life, guide decisions toward peace, and let Your gospel go forth with freedom and clarity. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.

Your supplication for rulers and for all that are in authority, for commanders and troops and for the multitudes of civilians spread across many nations, is a right and scriptural burden. We are taught first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions and thanksgivings be made for all men, for kings and for all that are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty, for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour who will have all men to be saved and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. In this we join you with a willing heart, for the fire upon the altar of intercession should never go out, neither by night nor by day.

You do well to ask for the sparing of life and for the protection of the innocent, and for wisdom and restraint to be given to those who bear the sword, and we will pray with you that cruelty be restrained and that the shedding of innocent blood be stayed. Yet we must remember that the peace which this world needs most is not merely the ceasing of guns and the silencing of war, but peace with God. There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked, and no treaty among nations can give the conscience rest while sin remains unpardoned. The great sine qua non of peace is an Ambassador nominated of God, namely His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. Other foundation can no man lay. It is His blood which whispers peace within, and when the soul learns that its enormous debt of sin has been fully discharged by the Lord Jesus Christ for all believers, then the heart has peace, perfect peace, even while sorrows surge around. We therefore pray first that Jew and Gentile, ruler and soldier and civilian alike, may be saved by faith in Christ demonstrated in repentance from sin, for there is salvation in no other name.

Be encouraged that you do not plead alone. Our great Intercessor still stands before His Father's throne and ever lives to make intercession for us, and the Spirit of God Himself helpeth our infirmities and maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. Intercessory prayer is an act of communion with Christ, for Jesus pleads for the sons of men, and when we pray for our fellow sinners we are in sympathy with Him who made intercession for the transgressors. Such prayer rises higher than any petition for ourselves, for only he who is in favor with the Lord can venture upon pleading for others. Even when answers seem delayed, we will wait for the Lord, for He has made all these things and He sitteth in the heavens and doeth whatever He pleaseth, working all things after the counsel of His own will and thwarting the plans of the wicked, while He works all things together for good to them that love Him and are called according to His purpose.

Continue therefore to hide the Word within your heart and to trust in the Lord forever, for His Word is faithful and shall never pass away. Put on the whole armour of God and pray with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, that utterance may be given to make known the mystery of the gospel with boldness and clarity. We will pray that the Lord will give wisdom and humility to leaders, that He will turn their hearts as channels of water whithersoever He will, that He will foster what is just and restrain what is evil, that He will guard His people and give angelic protection where He appoints, and that He will bless His Church so that she may indeed be a house of prayer for all nations. And we will pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for the glorious land and for all peoples, tribes and tongues, that the gospel of Jesus, the true Messiah, may run and be glorified.

May the Lord bless His people with peace, that peace which passeth all understanding and which is found only in Christ. May He keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus as you cast your cares upon Him.

Your prayer has been heard and we join you in it with thanksgiving. You have done well to begin as the Apostle urges, with prayers, petitions, intercessions and thanksgivings for all people, for kings and for all in authority, so that we may lead quiet and peaceable lives in all godliness and dignity, for this is good and pleasing in the sight of God our Savior who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

We will pray with you for military leaders, for troops, for civilians, for commanders and prime ministers and all who bear responsibility in these terrible conflicts. God has ordained governing authority to keep guard, to beat off enemies, to hinder sedition and to put an end to strife, and when they act justly they contribute to the settled order of this present life. We ask Him to give them wisdom and humility to know what to say and how to say it, to lead with restraint, to seek precision against military targets only, to protect the innocent and to spare life wherever possible. We pray for no more deaths, for the shielding of civilians who are so often placed in harm's way, and for angelic protection over all who are in danger, remembering that Christ in us is greater than any power in the world.

We also pray with you for what is greater than the absence of war. True peace is the mother of all good things and the foundation of joy. It is not simply that men agree together, for even robbers can agree, but that what is diseased is cut off and what is mutinous is removed so that heaven and earth may be united. The peace Christ gives prepares the way for love, and those who make such peace are called sons of God. So we ask not only for a ceasing of violence in Israel, in the Middle East, in Ukraine and Russia, in Taiwan and the Philippines and Japan, in our own land and in every nation you have named, but for the bond of peace that comes through the Spirit. As the Spirit holds together the members of one body though they are different, so He alone can unite those separated by race and language and history into one soul, more firmly than any mere alliance. We pray for godly alliances among free nations to be strengthened, for evil alignments to lose influence, for false teaching and persecution to be brought to nothing, and for freedom of speech and press to remain open so that the gospel of Jesus the true Messiah may go forth with clarity.

Above all we pray for salvation. The Lord is working all things according to the counsel of His will, He thwarts the plans of the wicked and works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose, and His house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations and for all peoples. We ask that Jews and Gentiles, rulers and soldiers and civilians, people of every tribe and tongue, may be saved by faith in Christ demonstrated in repentance from sin. We pray for the peace of Jerusalem, for the protection of all who do good, for leaders to be as channels of water in the hand of the Lord, turned wherever He pleases, and for the Church to put on the full armor of God and stand firm against the spiritual forces of evil.
