Please, pray for my husband ### to be protected by our Lord and His angels . He is under alcoholism addiction and may God not let him do any stupid things in this condition. May God save him from this Satan's power and save him from bad people, bad decisions. Thank you in Jesus name amen

We are standing with you in prayer for your husband and for you as his wife, and we thank you for bringing this burden before the Lord in the name of Jesus. We hear your heart crying out for his protection and deliverance, and we join our faith with yours that God will guard him from harm, from bad influences, and from destructive decisions while he is under this bondage.

We know that alcoholism is a cruel snare of the enemy that seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, and Scripture is very clear about it. Wine is a mocker, and beer is a brawler. Whoever is led astray by them is not wise. Proverbs 20:1. And we are commanded, Don't be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit. Ephesians 5:18. Our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit who is in us, and we are called to honor God with our bodies. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. We rebuke this spirit of drunkenness and addiction over your husband in the name of Jesus, for it does not align with God's will for his life and for your marriage. We pray that he will come to see this not merely as a struggle or a habit, but as sin that needs repentance and as a chain that Jesus alone can break. Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17.

We also take comfort that God is faithful to protect and to deliver. You asked for the Lord and His angels to guard him, and we cling to the promise that The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them. Psalm 34:7 and For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. Psalm 91:11. We pray that even now God will place a hedge around your husband, keeping him from foolish actions, from accidents, from the wrong people and the wrong choices, and from the schemes of Satan. Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 1 Peter 5:8. No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. 1 Corinthians 10:13.

We encourage you to continue to lift him up with the insistent prayer of a righteous person which is powerfully effective. James 5:16. At the same time, we encourage you in love to not enable the drinking, but to speak the truth with grace, to set healthy and biblical boundaries, and to urge him toward repentance, sober accountability, and help within the body of Christ. Encourage him to seek pastoral counsel, to confess openly, to be part of a Christ centered fellowship where he can be held accountable, and to seek wise and godly help to walk out sobriety. Your marriage is a holy covenant before God and we honor your faithfulness in standing for it. God desires to restore your husband to wholeness and to restore your home in peace.

We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, and we lift up this dear husband to You. Lord, have mercy on him and deliver him from the power of alcohol and from the hold of Satan. Break every chain that binds him, forgive him, cleanse him, and fill him with Your Holy Spirit. Protect him this day and every day from harming himself or others, from bad people who would lead him further astray, and from every foolish and destructive decision. Send Your angels to guard him and turn his feet onto the path of escape that You have promised. Give him a hatred for this sin and a hunger for righteousness and sobriety. Strengthen his wife with Your peace, courage, and wisdom, and uphold her with Your righteous right hand. Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10. We ask that You would bring him to full repentance and to complete freedom in Christ, for the glory of Your name and for the healing of this marriage. We trust You to do what only You can do. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Loving someone through alcohol addiction is exhausting and frightening, especially when you fear what he might do or what decisions he might make while drinking. It makes sense you would ask for God's protection over him.

Addiction is complex and affects every part of a person, which is why lasting help usually needs more than willpower alone. It takes support from God, from wise people around him, and often from professional and recovery help as well. You cannot carry this or fix it for him by yourself, and you were not meant to.

One steady next step that often helps is to make sure you are not facing this alone. If you have a trusted pastor, counselor, or mature friend, consider letting them walk with you. They can also help you think through safe next steps for , like encouraging him toward a medical professional, counselor, or a Christ centered recovery group such as Celebrate Recovery or AA when he is willing. If you ever feel unsafe, please reach out right away to family, church leaders, or local help around you.

We also encourage you to seek care for your own heart in this season. Having one or two safe people to talk and pray with regularly can make a real difference.

Father, we lift to You in Jesus' name. Please place Your hand of protection over him, guard him from harm and from those who would lead him further astray, and deliver him from the power that holds him. Give him clarity to seek help and give his wife wisdom, strength, and peace as she loves him. Lead them both to the right support. Amen.

Your prayer for your husband has been heard and we join you in bringing him before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation.

We know the sorrow of watching one we love bound by a strong chain. Alcoholism is a cruel master, and you are right to see it as a power of darkness from which only God can deliver. Hear this comfort, deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. He alone can bring forth a soul from bondage, and He makes that deliverance effectual.

We pray that the Lord will be his protection even in this hour. As you have asked, may the Lord keep him from doing harm to himself or others, guard his steps from bad companions and bad decisions, and hedge him about by His providence and the ministry of His holy angels. We ask that God in His mercy will frustrate the designs of the enemy and not suffer Satan to have dominion over him.

There is hope, for God has found a ransom. The prisoner is ready to go down to the pit, but there comes undeserved deliverance, for the King's own Son has borne the penalty of our iniquities. When God Himself proclaims, I have found a ransom, then is deliverance certain, for it is already accomplished at the cross. We pray that your husband may look to Jesus Christ and find not only forgiveness for sin but power to be loosed from its dominion.

We ask the Lord to work in him a deep conviction and a desire for deliverance, to create in him a new heart, and to grant him a holy hatred for that which enslaves him. May the Lord draw him to Himself, make him willing to walk in the light, to seek wise and godly help, and to turn from every place and company that tempts him to fall. And may the Lord sustain you, give you strength, wisdom and peace as you love him and stand firm in prayer.

We will continue to pray that you both will yet live to declare the works of the Lord, and that his deliverance, when it comes, will be seen clearly to be of Free Grace only, to the praise of Him who brings forth with silver and gold those whom He saves.

Father, in the name of Jesus, have mercy upon this husband. Protect him, restrain him from evil, break the power of this addiction, and bring him into the glorious liberty of the children of God. Amen.
