Save from politics in working

Disciple of Prayer
Prayer Request Dear brothers and sisters, I humbly ask for your prayers during a very difficult season of my life. I am currently serving in my organization, but due to workplace politics, some people are trying to have me transferred or attached to another place. I sincerely believe this would make my situation much more difficult and deeply affect both my health and my life. As a person recovering from paralysis, I still face physical challenges every day. At this stage, a transfer or attachment would place a heavy burden on me and could negatively impact my recovery and my ability to continue serving effectively. Please pray that God protects me from every unfair decision, grants me favor with the authorities, and allows me to remain in my current posting until next year. Pray that He gives me strength, peace, good health, wisdom, and justice, and that no one succeeds in harming my future through politics or ill intentions. I trust that God is greater than every obstacle, and I believe your prayers will strengthen me during this difficult time. Thank you for remembering me in your prayers. May God bless you all.

We stand with you in this challenging season, lifting your situation before our Heavenly Father with hearts full of faith and compassion. Your request touches deeply on the struggles of workplace injustice, physical hardship, and the need for divine intervention. We recognize the weight of what you’re facing, both the visible battles of health and mobility and the unseen battles of office politics and malicious intent. But we declare with confidence that our God is a God of justice, healing, and restoration, and He sees every detail of your circumstance.

First, we want to affirm that your trust in God’s sovereignty is well-placed. The psalmist reminds us in Psalm 37:5-6, "Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun." You are not alone in this fight, and we believe God is already at work on your behalf. The enemy may seek to disrupt your peace, your health, and your calling, but we rebuke every scheme of the devil in Jesus’ name. Ephesians 6:12 tells us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." Those who are acting out of ill will or selfish ambition are merely tools of a greater darkness, and we pray that their hearts would be softened or their plans thwarted by the hand of God.

We also lift up your physical condition with great compassion. Your recovery from paralysis is a testament to God’s healing power, and we pray that He would continue to strengthen your body and restore what has been lost. Isaiah 41:10 assures us, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." We ask the Lord to grant you endurance, to accelerate your healing, and to provide every resource you need to thrive in your current role. May your body respond to His touch, and may your spirit remain unshaken by the challenges around you.

Regarding the workplace politics you’re facing, we want to encourage you to stand firm in integrity while trusting God to fight your battles. Proverbs 21:1 declares, "The king’s heart is in the Lord’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." The authorities over you are not beyond God’s reach, and we pray that He would move in their hearts to grant you favor and protect you from unjust decisions. We also ask that He would expose any hidden agendas or deceitful motives among those who seek to harm you. Let their plans be turned to confusion, and may your reputation be preserved as a person of honor and diligence.

We must also address the spiritual foundation of your request. While your plea is heartfelt and your faith is evident, we want to gently remind you, and all who read this, that our access to God’s throne is only through the name of Jesus Christ. John 14:6 tells us, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Salvation is found in no other name, and it is by His blood alone that we are made righteous before God. If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Jesus, confessing Him as Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). This is the foundation upon which all other prayers are built.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing workplace injustice, physical challenges, and the threat of unjust displacement. Lord, You see every detail of this situation, and You know the hearts of those who seek to harm him/her. We ask that You would intervene in power, thwarting every plan of the enemy and granting our brother/sister favor with those in authority. Let no weapon formed against him/her prosper, and let every tongue that rises in judgment be silenced by Your truth (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we pray for healing and strength over his/her body. You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You would continue to restore mobility, vitality, and health. Sustain him/her in this season, and let Your peace guard his/her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Give him/her wisdom to navigate this situation with grace and discernment, and let Your justice prevail in every decision that affects his/her future.

Lord, we also pray for those who are acting out of malice or selfishness. Soften their hearts, Father, and turn their plans to confusion. Let them see the error of their ways and repent of any ill will toward our brother/sister. If it be Your will, keep him/her in his/her current posting until next year, as he/she has requested, and let this time be one of growth, stability, and blessing.

We declare that no weapon formed against him/her will prosper, and every assignment of the enemy is canceled in Jesus’ name. We thank You for Your faithfulness, Your protection, and Your provision. May our brother/sister feel Your presence in a tangible way, and may he/she continue to serve You with joy and purpose, regardless of the outcome.

In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in faith, knowing that God is your defender and your provider. Continue to seek Him in prayer and in His Word, and trust that He will direct your steps. If you have not already, surround yourself with godly counsel and community who can support you in prayer and encouragement. You are not forgotten, and we believe God has a purpose for you in this season. Keep your eyes on Him, and do not grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9). The Lord is your strength, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).

We’ve been thinking about you and the weight you’re carrying right now. Recovering from paralysis is demanding enough on its own, and facing a possible transfer on top of that would genuinely pile on burdens you don’t need. Your concern isn’t small or selfish, it’s realistic. When your body is already working so hard to heal, the last thing you need is an upheaval that disrupts your routines, your support system, and the stability that helps you keep moving forward.

We are asking God to shield you from any decision that would set back your recovery or add unnecessary strain. It also strikes us that your presence in your current role matters, you are serving faithfully even while managing ongoing physical challenges, and that says something about your character that those with authority would do well to recognize. We pray specifically that they see you clearly, not through the fog of office politics, and that their choices lean toward what is fair and wise.

In the meantime, if there is any way to quietly make your health needs known to someone in a position to advocate for you, a trusted supervisor or a human resources contact who can document that a transfer would create real hardship, that may be a practical step to back up what we are praying for. But even if the path forward stays uncertain for a while, we trust that you are not forgotten or alone in this.

Jesus, we ask you to intervene for our brother as he faces this threat. Give him steady peace in the waiting, and give those who hold his future in their hands sound judgment and fairness. Protect his health. Guard his place. Let the truth of his need be heard, and may he stay where he can continue to serve you well while his body grows stronger. In your name we pray.

The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. What comfort lies in this for a soul buffeted by the schemes of men! Those who plot your removal scheme in vain, for the Lord sitteth in the heavens and doth whatsoever pleaseth Him. Could any but a divine motive actuate the Divine Architect, and His purpose stands fast: to break down everything which sets itself up in opposition to Him. The death warrant is gone out from God against everything that is of the creature, and the cunning of office politicians is no exception. He will thrust out your enemies before you, and each of your foes has received a touch from the finger of Him who travels in the greatness of His strength.

You speak of physical weakness and the dread of a burden too heavy to bear. Yet it is for you, in this weakness, that this divine Word is intended. The Lord can make the weak ones strong in a moment and raise them at once from bed to battle, from lukewarmness to ardor. Strength from the Lord would fit you to wield whatever He appoints. Your great grief is taken from you by the kind application of the blood of Christ, but you feel you can hardly crawl to the Mercy Seat. Fear not, for strength and recovery are His to give. He gives something from the flock, from the threshing floor and from the winepress. Some of us were rich, indeed, the first day we came to Jesus, and He will furnish you with abundant help for this fresh start of trust.

Remember that your holiness will never shield you from calumny. The Savior’s whole life was just that pounding beneath the heavy hammer of human wrath, and then the sweetness came forth. Think it not strange that affliction visits you, but know He does not afflict from the heart. When He turns in a way of grace to His people, He comes with all His soul, most heartily and richly, to display His favor. There is no attribute more comforting to His children than the doctrine of Divine Sovereignty. He maketh the difference; He lifts the poor from the dunghill while He casteth down the mighty from the seats of their pomp. So far from making you sit down in sloth, this truth humbles you to say, “I am unworthy of the least of all thy mercies. Thou hast a right to do with me as thou wilt.”

You ask for favor with authorities. What higher favor is there than this: that the God of your mercy shall prevent you? He will go before you, as He did with David. When in the inner chamber of his spirit his heart talked with God, he received no contemptuous epithets from the Most High. The blood imperial of Heaven is in the veins of every regenerated man and woman. You are descended from the King of kings. Let men scheme; divine interpositions are frequent among God’s people. How strikingly has God delivered some of us! He sent from above, He took me, He drew me out of many waters. The Lord can stay the hand of any who would harm your future, for He has said, “Destroy them,” and that touch has already crippled the power of your enemies.

Get into God’s arms and you will see how to hit at sin and will gather strength to give the final blow which shall lay the monster of fear in the dust. The God of your mercy will prevent you. Trust Him for good health, for peace, and for the mortification of every anxious thought. Wait upon Him, and He shall allow you to stand still, fed and unyoked, while He fights for you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have been delivered from a grievous malady, and you know well who it is that made you whole. That same Physician who restored your limbs now holds your future in His hands. Why then do you tremble at the threats of men? The paralytic whom the Lord cured did not conceal his benefit, nor did he ask pardon of those who raged against him on the Sabbath. He stood in the Temple, even when they harassed him, and he proclaimed the One who had lifted him up. And so must you. God did not grant you recovery to have your peace shattered by every wind of office politics.

Let them try to transfer you; let them scheme. If you are fastened to Christ, no man can displace your soul. The Lord may permit this trial to show the devil that you serve Him not for comfort or for a quiet life, but for Him alone. Bear this season thankfully, and if the posting is preserved, give glory to God. If it is taken, bear that too, and your reward will be greater. He who raised you from paralysis can certainly shield you from unjust decisions. But do not run about clamoring for human favor; do not bend your confession to please those in authority. You were not healed to serve man, but God.

Yet hear also the warning given to the paralytic: “Sin no more.” Examine your life, lest any hidden fault give the adversary a foothold. The Temple, not the marketplace, is where Christ found that man afterward. Now, in this trouble, remain in prayer and in the assembly of the saints, not crafting worldly schemes. Show yourself a trustworthy witness, not by complaining of the injustice, but by the steadfastness of your hope. You say you trust that God is greater than every obstacle; then live that trust aloud. No one succeeds in harming your future unless you surrender your soul to bitterness. He has conquered death and led captivity captive. Shall He not command even office politics?
