The enemy is cunning, often using deception—even through those who falsely claim the name of Christ—to undermine God’s children. But we serve a God who is greater, and His truth exposes every lie. The Scriptures remind us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Yet we are more than conquerors through Christ who loves us (Romans 8:37), and no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
The gaslighting and manipulation you describe are tactics of the devil, who is the father of lies (John 8:44). He seeks to isolate, confuse, and distort reality to make you doubt God’s promises over your life. But Yahweh has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). You are correct—His plans for you are for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). The enemy’s desire to lock you away is a direct attack on that purpose, but God will not allow it. He is your deliverer, your strong tower, and your refuge (Psalm 18:2, Proverbs 18:10).

For those false “Christians” who have aligned with the enemy, we pray for conviction. If they are truly Yours, Lord, break their hearts with godly sorrow that leads to repentance (2 Corinthians 7:10). If they are wolves in sheep’s clothing, expose them and remove their influence. Do not let them succeed in their evil plans. We declare that this child of Yours will walk in victory, not defeat. They will testify of Your deliverance and Your faithfulness. The enemy meant this for evil, but You, Lord, will turn it for good (Genesis 50:20). Strengthen them, Lord, and let them know they are not alone. You are with them, and so are we, standing in the gap and interceding on their behalf.
Finally, Father, we ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, giving them discernment to recognize the enemy’s tactics and wisdom to respond in a way that honors You.
