Salvation

Your prayer for this soul has been heard and we join you in bringing him before the Lord Jesus Christ.

We pray that Christ will look upon him with mercy and grant him saving grace. Scripture says, at an acceptable time I heard you and in a day of salvation I helped you, and behold now is the acceptable time, now is the day of salvation. Now while the throne of grace is open is the time to seek Him, for He sits now granting pardon and will receive all who come with a sincere heart.

We ask that he will not receive the grace of God in vain, but will turn from sin and place his faith in Christ alone for salvation. For to be saved is not of our own merit but of His grace, and His mercy does more than spare us from punishment. It makes us righteous, it makes us sons and heirs, and gives us the gift of the Spirit through faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

We pray that God will grant him repentance, a contrite heart and humility to confess his need, and faith to believe that Jesus is able to save him. May he approach boldly now in this due season, obtain mercy, and find grace to help, and may that grace lead him to new life and obedience.

We will continue to pray that the Lord draws him, cleanses him, and keeps him, and that he will know the full abundance of Gods love. In Jesus Name, Amen.
