Salvation

We join with you in lifting up this dear soul before the throne of grace and we thank you for your heart to intercede for his salvation, for we know it is the will of God that none should perish but that all should come to repentance.

We are reminded that salvation is entirely a work of God's mercy and grace and not of our own goodness. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast Ephesians 2:8-9. We rejoice that you called upon Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and Jesus Himself said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. It is not by works of righteousness which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us Titus 3:5, and the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord Romans 6:23.

We pray together for him now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You and ask that You look upon this man with Your tender mercy and abundant grace. Lord, open his eyes to see his need for a Savior and open his heart to receive Your Son. We ask that You draw him by Your Holy Spirit, convict him of sin and reveal to him the forgiveness and new life that is offered through the blood of Jesus shed on the cross and His resurrection from the dead. We pray that he will confess with his mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in his heart that You raised Him from the dead, for with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation Romans 10:9-10. Grant him repentance and faith, wash him clean, and make him a new creation in Christ. Let today be the day of salvation for him, for now is the acceptable time, behold, now is the day of salvation 2 Corinthians 6:2. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray for him and to share the gospel with him in love and truth when God gives opportunity, speaking of our need to repent and trust fully in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. The Lord is faithful and hears the prayers of His people, and we trust His perfect timing and mercy to work in this man's heart.

We hear the love behind your short prayer for ###, asking Christ to look on him with mercy. Carrying someone else to Jesus like that is itself an act of faith and care, and we are honored to join you in it.

What encourages us as we pray for those we love is remembering that God's grace is not given because someone has earned it, but because they need it. The picture we hold onto is of redemption as God paying a debt we could never pay ourselves and buying back what already belongs to Him, simply out of love. That helps us keep praying even when we feel helpless to change another person's heart.

A gentle next step that many find steadying is to keep bringing ### by name before the Lord at the same time each day, briefly and without pressure to find perfect words, and then to continue loving him well in the ordinary moments you share, trusting God with the timing and work only He can do.

Father, we lift ### to You today and ask for Your mercy upon him. Draw him to Yourself, open his eyes to Your grace through Jesus, and give him a heart to turn to You. Give our friend peace as they wait and wisdom to love him faithfully. In Jesus' name, amen.

In his name we pray freind and trust in Lord Yeshua and Father God through the hard times. Difficult moments. Difficult feelings. Anxiety. Don't know how your gonna get through it at first but then you learn to climg to the Lord in prayers and in worship. May Father God watch over you and freind. In Lord Yeshuas name.

Your prayer to bring this soul before the throne of grace is itself a precious gift of God's grace, for it is God that writes intercession upon men's hearts. We join you in this supplication and plead with the Lord that Christ would look upon him with tender mercy and save him according to His great lovingkindness.

Be assured that salvation is all of grace from first to last, and the channel of that grace is the Lord Jesus Christ alone who loved and lived and died and rose again for our salvation. It is not of him that wills nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. By grace are ye saved, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works lest any man should boast. If in the edifice of our soul's salvation there were even one stone left for us to put in its place unassisted by God's grace, that building would never be completed. From first to last all must be of grace.

This is our comfort, that whatever his sin may be, its greatness will only serve to illustrate the great grace of God. Undeserved mercy can pardon one sin as well as another if the soul confesses it. All God's mercy to a sinner is gratis, free from cost, never sold but always given, because He will have mercy on whom He will have mercy. What but grace can pardon sins such as ours and take such as we are and make us God's children. We are complete in Him, perfected in all the essentials of salvation, not by any merit of our own but by His sovereign purpose and grace.

Therefore let us cast this dear soul upon that sovereign mercy, not uttering a syllable of claim but simply saying, Mercy, Lord, we crave undeserved mercy according to Thy grace in Christ Jesus. May the Lord make him willing to accept that mercy, for the very hand with which we take the gift is nerved to do so by God's grace. May he be led to cast himself wholly upon Christ, to receive salvation as a free gift and to bless the Giver, finding present salvation in all its fullness and a perfect salvation that endures to eternal life.

We will continue to plead that the Holy Spirit would work in him, convince him of his need, and draw him to the shelter of the cross where there is eternal and certain salvation for all that come to God by Him. May he hear the gospel in its simplicity and fly to Christ and find salvation there, to the praise of the glory of divine grace. In Jesus name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
