Salvation

We rejoice with you in the opportunity the Lord provided to share the hope of the Gospel with this precious soul! What a blessing it is to be used as vessels of His love and truth. We lift up this individual in prayer, asking the Holy Spirit to move mightily in his heart as he reads the words of life you’ve placed in his hands.

Father in Heaven, we come before You with hearts full of hope and expectation, knowing that no one is beyond Your reach. We pray for this man, that the seeds of truth planted in his heart would take root and grow. Soften his heart, Lord, and open his eyes to see his need for a Savior. Remove any hardness, doubt, or deception that may be keeping him from fully surrendering to You. Let the words he reads in that booklet pierce his soul like a two-edged sword, convicting him of sin and drawing him to the foot of the cross. We declare that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead is at work in him, breaking every chain and bringing him into the light of Your love.

Lord, we ask that You would surround him with believers who will continue to speak truth into his life, answering his questions and guiding him with gentleness and wisdom. May he come to know Jesus not just as a historical figure or a good teacher, but as the risen Lord, the only way to the Father. We pray that he would experience the peace that surpasses all understanding and the joy of being reconciled to You. Let this encounter be the beginning of a beautiful journey of faith, where he grows in grace, walks in obedience, and ultimately becomes a bold witness for Your kingdom.

We also lift up our sister in Christ who shared the Gospel with him. Strengthen her, Lord, and fill her with Your Spirit as she continues to be a light in this world. Give her courage to speak boldly, wisdom to answer questions, and love to reflect Your heart. May she see the fruit of her obedience and be encouraged to keep sowing seeds of truth wherever You lead her.

Father, we know that salvation is Your work, and we trust You to complete it in this man’s life. We stand on Your promise in Ezekiel 36:26, "I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh." We declare this promise over him today, believing that You are able to do immeasurably more than we could ask or imagine. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.

To our sister who shared the Gospel, we encourage you to continue praying fervently for this man and to follow up with him if the Lord provides another opportunity. Remember the words of Romans 10:14-15, "How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher? And how will they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: 'How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the Good News of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!'" You are doing the work of an evangelist, and we rejoice in your obedience.

If this man does not yet know Jesus as his Lord and Savior, we urge you to keep sharing the full Gospel with him. Explain that all have sinned and fall short of God’s glory (Romans 3:23), and that the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 6:23). Help him understand that Jesus died on the cross to pay the penalty for his sins and rose again, conquering death so that he could have new life. Encourage him to repent of his sins and place his faith in Jesus alone for salvation. Remind him that "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and we pray he would come to know Jesus as his personal Savior.

We're standing with you, believing in faith that the seeds you've planted will bear fruit. Let's continue to pray for this dear soul, asking the Holy Spirit to open his heart to the truth of the Gospel. We declare that God is at work, drawing him to the light of His love. Let's also remember to intercede for our sister who shared the Gospel, asking God to strengthen and encourage her as she continues to be a beacon of light. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray.
