We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up these two precious souls who are seeking true faith in Christ Jesus. Father, we thank You that they are reaching out, desiring to know You more deeply. We ask that You would draw them close, revealing Yourself to them in powerful and personal ways. Lord, Your Word tells us in Jeremiah 29:13, "You shall seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart." We pray that this seeking would lead them straight into Your arms, where they will find truth, peace, and eternal life.
For the one grieving a loss, we ask that You would comfort them with the comfort that only You can provide. The pain of loss can be overwhelming, and we know that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). We rebuke the lies of false teachings that may have led them astray in the past, and we pray that Your truth would shine brightly in their heart. Help them to cast their burdens upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Let them find solace in Your presence and strength in Your Word.
For the one who claims deliverance from the new age but may still be deceived, we pray for discernment and clarity. The enemy is cunning, and his deceptions can be subtle. We ask that You would reveal any areas where they may still be holding onto false beliefs or practices. Your Word warns us in Colossians 2:8, "Be careful that you don’t let anyone rob you through his philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the elements of the world, and not after Christ." We pray that they would be rooted and built up in Christ, established in the faith just as they were taught (Colossians 2:7). Let them walk in the fullness of Your truth, rejecting every lie that contradicts Your Word.
We are also concerned about the negative comments they are facing, including from a child involved. Lord, we ask that You would guard their hearts against discouragement and bitterness. Help them to respond with grace and love, even in the face of hostility. Your Word tells us in Romans 12:21, "Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." Give them the strength to stand firm in their faith, even when others do not understand or support them.
Regarding the loss of the YouTube channel, we lift this situation up to You, knowing that You are the provider of all things. While we understand the desire to regain what was lost, we pray that this individual would trust in Your provision and not be discouraged by the opinions of others. Your Word reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We ask that You would open doors of opportunity for them, whether it be through the restoration of the channel or through new avenues that You have prepared. Let them find their worth and identity in You, not in the approval of others or the success of their platform.
Father, we also want to address the importance of salvation through Jesus Christ alone. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that these individuals would come to know Jesus not just as a teacher or a guide, but as their Lord and Savior. Help them to understand that true faith is not found in false teachings, new age philosophies, or the approval of others, but in a personal relationship with You through Christ. We pray that they would confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead, so that they may be saved (Romans 10:9).
Lord, we rebuke every spirit of deception, discouragement, and fear that may be at work in their lives. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). Strengthen their faith, deepen their trust in You, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let them walk in the light of Your truth, free from the bondage of falsehood and fear.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
