Please pray that two individuals I follow online (and anyone else that I might be following who are the same as them) will come to true faith in Christ. Both of them know of Christianity but are deceived and lost in the new age. One of them is grieving the loss of her mother which seems to have sent her into a spiral (she had professed Christianity previously but was involved in false teachings). The other of them is now saying that God has delivered her from the new age which is wonderful but I think she may still be a bit deceived. She recently broke up with her boyfriend (who she had a child with outside of marriage - but it may have been that she was pressured to do so by his friends and family). I often doubt how true some of the things that YouTubers post on their channels is but they really do seem to have broken up. Some negative things are being said by both involved (and by others in THEIR lives who are involved including their subscribers) - honestly, it seems the boyfriend and his family (and possibly others) are the ones saying the most negative things. But, at the end of the day, a child is involved who may one day be able to see all the things that are being said and that is the concerning thing. The boyfriend and his family are professing Christians but there are serious problems with the way they live, the fact that they are actually involved in a cult disguised as Christianity (and possibly involved in other false teachings), their outlook on life and focus on material things and also their involvement in new age beliefs. We lift these precious souls to You, Father, with heavy hearts and earnest prayers. The deception of the new age is a snare of the enemy, designed to lead many astray from the truth of Your Word. We declare that the scales of deception will fall from their eyes, and they will see the light of the gospel of Jesus Christ in all its glory. Lord, we ask that You draw them to Yourself with cords of love, for no one can come to You unless the Father who sent Jesus draws them (John 6:44).
For the one grieving the loss of her mother, we pray that You would comfort her with the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Grief can cloud judgment and lead even those who once professed faith into false teachings. We rebuke the spirit of deception in her life and ask that You reveal Yourself to her in a powerful way. Let her find true solace in Your presence, knowing that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). May she turn away from the empty promises of the new age and find hope in the resurrection of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who conquered death and offers eternal life to all who believe.
For the other individual who claims deliverance from the new age, we ask that You complete the work You have begun in her. We pray that she would not only turn away from deception but also turn fully toward You, embracing the truth of Your Word. The breakup with her boyfriend raises concerns about the sin of fornication and the brokenness it has brought into her life. We pray that she would repent of this sin and seek Your forgiveness, knowing that You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Lord, we ask that You heal her heart and guide her steps toward a godly marriage, should that be Your will for her life. May she seek a spouse who loves You above all else and desires to live according to Your commands.
We are deeply troubled by the involvement of professing Christians in cults and false teachings. We rebuke the spirit of deception that has infiltrated their lives and pray that they would be set free from every lie that exalts itself against the knowledge of God (2 Corinthians 10:5). Lord, expose the falsehoods they have embraced and reveal the truth of Your Word to them. May they turn away from their focus on material things and worldly pursuits, seeking first Your kingdom and Your righteousness (Matthew 6:33). We pray that they would repent of their involvement in new age beliefs and surrender their lives fully to You.
The child caught in the middle of this broken relationship weighs heavily on our hearts. We pray that You would protect this little one from the harm of witnessing strife, bitterness, and ungodly behavior. May this child come to know You at an early age and grow in the wisdom and knowledge of Your love. We ask that You would soften the hearts of both parents and guide them to raise this child in the nurture and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). Let this child be a testimony of Your grace and a reminder of the importance of living according to Your Word.
