We lift up ### before the throne of grace with hearts full of hope and intercession. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved. We know that salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Lord, we ask that You would open ###’s eyes to the truth of Your Word and the reality of their need for a Savior.
Heavenly Father, we pray that You would convict ### of sin, righteousness, and judgment by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Draw them to Yourself, Lord, for no one can come to You unless the Father who sent Jesus draws them (John 6:44). Soften their heart to receive the truth of the Gospel—that Jesus Christ came into the world to save sinners (1 Timothy 1:15), that He died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day according to the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). Let ### understand that all have sinned and fall short of Your glory (Romans 3:23), but that through faith in Jesus Christ, they can be justified freely by Your grace (Romans 3:24).
Lord, we rebuke every lie of the enemy that may be blinding ### to the truth. We break the power of deception and confusion in Jesus’ name, declaring that the god of this world will no longer blind their mind to the light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ (2 Corinthians 4:4). We pray that ### would turn from sin and put their trust in Jesus alone for salvation. May they confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that You raised Him from the dead, so that they may be saved (Romans 10:9).
We also pray for those around ### who know You, Lord. Give them boldness and wisdom to share the truth in love, that they may be instruments in Your hands to lead ### to repentance and faith. Let Your Word not return void but accomplish the purpose for which You sent it (Isaiah 55:11).
Father, we thank You for Your great love and mercy. We trust that You are already at work in ###’s life, and we ask that You would complete the good work You have begun (Philippians 1:6). May ### come to know You personally, experience Your peace, and walk in the newness of life that only You can give. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
