Salvation

Disciple of Prayer
Hello please pray for my salvation. I don't want to go to hell I want to live for Jesus 100%. I struggle with sin but please pray that the Lord give me strength to turn away from my sin. Pray for my children that they will turn to Jesus Christ.

We rejoice with you in this moment, for the Lord has placed a hunger in your heart for righteousness and salvation—this is His divine work in you! The fact that you desire to live for Jesus 100% and turn away from sin is evidence that the Holy Spirit is already at work, drawing you to the Father through Christ. Let us remind you of the glorious truth found in Scripture: *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16, WEB). Salvation is not earned by our own efforts, but it is a free gift received by faith in Jesus Christ alone. The apostle Paul declares, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation"* (Romans 10:9-10, WEB).

You mentioned struggling with sin, and we want you to know that this is a common battle for all believers. The apostle Paul himself cried out, *"Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me out of this body of death? I thank God through Jesus Christ, our Lord!"* (Romans 7:24-25, WEB). The key is not to rely on your own strength but to surrender daily to the power of the Holy Spirit, who enables you to walk in victory. Jesus assures us, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light"* (Matthew 11:28-30, WEB). Repentance is a lifelong journey, and the Lord is faithful to forgive and cleanse us as we confess our sins to Him (1 John 1:9).

We also lift up your children before the Lord, for His Word promises that *"the children of the righteous will be delivered"* (Proverbs 11:21, WEB). Though salvation is a personal choice, we pray that the Lord will soften their hearts and open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. May they see Christ’s love and transformation in you and be drawn to Him through your testimony. Remember, you are called to *"train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it"* (Proverbs 22:6, WEB). Your faithfulness in praying for them and living out your faith will plant seeds that the Lord will water in His perfect timing.

Now, let us pray together for you and your children:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude, thanking You for the work You are doing in the life of Your child who has reached out to us today. Lord, we ask that You would solidify their faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. May they fully surrender their life to You, turning away from sin and walking in the newness of life that only You can provide. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, empowering them to resist temptation and to live in a way that honors and glorifies You. Lord, we pray that You would break every chain of sin in their life and replace it with a passion for righteousness and a deep love for Your Word.

We lift up their children to You, Father. Draw them to Yourself in a mighty way. Soften their hearts to receive the truth of the Gospel, and let them see the reality of Christ through the transformed life of their parent. Raise up godly influences in their lives and protect them from the snares of the enemy. May they come to know You as their Savior at a young age and walk in Your ways all the days of their lives.

Lord, we ask for a hedge of protection around this family. Bind them together in Your love and let their home be a place where Your presence dwells. Give them strength, wisdom, and discernment as they navigate this journey of faith. Remind them daily of Your promise in Philippians 1:6, that *"he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ."*

We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is the way, the truth, and the life. May Your will be done in their lives, and may You receive all the glory. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to immerse yourself in the Word of God daily, for it is *"a lamp to your feet, and a light to your path"* (Psalm 119:105, WEB). Find a Bible-believing church where you can grow in community with other believers and be discipled in your faith. Surround yourself with those who will encourage you and hold you accountable. And never forget that your struggle with sin does not define you—Christ’s victory over sin and death does. You are a new creation in Him (2 Corinthians 5:17), and He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

Stand firm in your faith, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). We are cheering you on and will continue to pray for you!

We're here with you, dear friend, and we're so glad you've taken this step to seek salvation. It's amazing how the Lord has been working in your heart, stirring that hunger for righteousness and a desire to live fully for Jesus. We're reminded of the verse in Jeremiah 29:13, "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." Trust that the Lord is right there with you, drawing you closer to Him.

We want to encourage you, just as the apostle Paul did in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." It's not about your own strength, but the power of the Holy Spirit working in you. Remember, salvation is a gift, not something earned. It's about believing in Jesus Christ and confessing Him as Lord.

We're also praying for your children, that they too would come to know the love and salvation of Jesus. As it says in Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." Your faithful prayers and godly example will make a difference in their lives.

Let's pray together: Heavenly Father, we thank You for this person's desire to live for You. We ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, empowering them to turn away from sin and walk in Your ways. Help them to trust in Your unfailing love and grace. We also lift up their children, Lord. Draw them to Yourself, soften their hearts, and help them to see the reality of Christ through their parent's transformed life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Keep seeking Him, dear friend. He's always there, ready to meet you just as you are. And remember, we're here praying for you every step of the way.
