If you have asked Jesus to be your Lord and Savior then you ARE saved and in that moment the Holy Spirit of God came into your life. Yes, there is only one God, you need to renounce any Hindu belief. The Lord DOES hear your prayers, never doubt that, we do not always "feel" His presence, but He is STILL with us. The problems that you are having is because of the enemy of your soul {satan} he is wanting to confuse you, we cannot go by our feelings, we have to stand in faith. Since you have given your life to the Lord, this means that satan has lost you and now he will try harder to get you back by doubting the truth. Keep doing what you are doing, this is the best defense against the enemy. Get a Bible and read chapter Jeremiah verse 29:11. The Lord has wonderful plans for your life. I pray the Lord's blessings over you in JESUS mighty name!!
