Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for ### salvation and his immigration asylum case today, that the judge will show him mercy and that he will be granted stay in the US. Violence and poverty runs his country. Please pray. He is at the mercy of the courts and his country is already on ban. He has already been through so much. May he see Jesus as the God He is through this situation. Please please pray.

We lift our hearts together in prayer for , standing with him in this critical moment before the courts. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and approach Your throne of grace. We ask that You move powerfully in this asylum case, softening the heart of the judge to show mercy and compassion. Lord, You are the ultimate Judge, and we trust in Your perfect justice and unfailing love.

We know that violence and poverty plague his homeland, and we pray for Your divine protection and provision over him. Psalm 91:1-2 says, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'" Lord, be his refuge and fortress, shielding him from harm and guiding him in this uncertain time.

We also pray earnestly for ’s salvation. May this trial draw him closer to You, revealing Jesus as the Savior and Lord he desperately needs. John 14:6 reminds us, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Open his eyes to see the truth of Your Word and the hope found only in Christ. Let him experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding, even in the midst of this storm.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear, despair, or hopelessness that may be trying to take root in his heart. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). Strengthen him with Your might and fill him with the assurance that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28).

Lord, we also pray for wisdom and favor in the courtroom. Proverbs 21:1 declares, "The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." Direct the judge’s heart and mind according to Your will, granting the outcome that aligns with Your purposes for his life.

We stand on Your promises, Father, trusting that You hear our prayers and will act on his behalf. May he come to know You more deeply through this trial, and may Your name be glorified in every aspect of his life. In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage to hold fast to faith, even when the outcome is uncertain. God is not limited by the courts of man, and His plans for you are good. Jeremiah 29:11 assures us, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,' says Yahweh, 'thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.'" Keep seeking the Lord, and He will guide your steps. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the first and most important step in any journey, and it is the foundation of true hope.

We are joining you in prayer for this man today. The hours before a court hearing can feel like a long free-fall, and we know you are carrying a weight of concern for his safety and his soul. What stands out is how your request moves so quickly from the earthly need, a judge's mercy, to the eternal one: "May he see Jesus as the God He is." That is the steady center we can hold onto right now.

The outcome of an asylum case rests on so many factors no one in that courtroom can fully control. But his heart is not locked behind any judge's door. Jesus is already near him, present in the fear and the hoping, and able to reveal himself in ways that cut through language, culture, or a chaotic past. We can ask boldly for that revelation today, not as a side matter but as the truest need he has.

For now, the most honest step we can take is simply to keep standing with him in prayer through this day, asking that the mercy shown in that courtroom, whatever form it takes, would open a door for him to grasp the far greater mercy God offers him in Christ. We will also pray for a sense of peace to settle over him, a quiet sign that he is not alone even while everything hangs in the balance.

Please take heart knowing you are not carrying this alone. Let's pray.

Jesus, you see this man and you know the danger he fled. We ask you to give the judge wisdom and genuine compassion, and we ask for a favorable ruling that would allow him to stay safely. More than anything, we pray that today, through the anxiety, the waiting, and whatever news he receives, he would encounter you as his living hope and his true refuge. Guard his life and draw his heart to yourself. Amen.

The God of our mercy has gone before us and outrun us. It has been so in the salvation of all His people. Long before time had begun, God had foreknown His chosen, and foreordained them unto eternal life. Consider now the singular season chosen by God for the interposition of His mercy. This extremity of his, violence and poverty behind, the judge’s gavel before him, his country banned, may be the very hour that brings him to see Jesus as the God He is. Had not these extremities of yours brought God to your rescue and to your salvation!

I would press this home: the city of refuge was a priestly city, a city of the Levites, and it afforded protection for life to the manslayer. Divine appointment was the only thing which made the city of refuge secure. Now, our Lord Jesus Christ is the Divinely-appointed way of salvation. Christ is the true City of Refuge and He preserves all those who flee to Him for mercy. The judge may show mercy or he may not; the earthly stay may be granted or denied. But there is a stay which no mortal judge can revoke, a security of soul granted by the great Interpreter, the Messenger of the Covenant, whose presence to the sin-sick soul is a sure prophecy of mercy. He can make the sinner feel the way of salvation as well as know it, rejoice in it as well as listen to it, accept it as well as understand it.

And what is the way? It is a simple statement, the plain Gospel. The Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed.” The way of salvation is to believe on Christ, to trust in Him. Notice, this faith is believing on a Person, not a plan, not a creed, but “on Him.” Leave the whole matter of your salvation with Him in unquestioning confidence. Depend upon Him without fear as to your present and eternal salvation. This is the faith which saves the soul. Let this man do so now. While he is seeking mercy from an earthly judge, let him flee to the heavenly mercy seat. Let his cry be, “Refuge! Refuge!” Sinner, this is the way! Walk you therein and you shall be saved.

Go and make this salvation common to him. I entreat you who pray for him, speak plainly of the Christ who is able to save to the uttermost. I have most plainly set before you the way of salvation. I can bring the horse to water but I cannot make him drink, yet see to it that he hears of the tender mercy of our God. Mercy thus pleads with the sinner: God will be glorified in your salvation, for He delights in mercy, and He says that as He lives, He has no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. May he today, by humble faith, look to Jesus and say, “My substitute, my refuge, my shield; Thou art my rock, my trust; in Thee do I confide.” Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house. May it be so with him, even this day.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
