We hear your urgent cry for help in this season of transition, and we lift you up before the Lord with hearts full of compassion. The stress of selling a home, searching for a new one, and facing the possibility of homelessness is heavy, but we know that our God is a provider and a shelter in every storm. Scripture reminds us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We stand on this promise for you, believing that the Lord sees your need and will make a way where there seems to be no way.
We also want to gently remind you that our prayers and access to God are made possible only through the name of Jesus Christ. It is through His sacrifice on the cross and resurrection that we have the privilege to come boldly before the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation is found in no one else, and it is the foundation upon which we build our lives and our prayers.
Father God, we come before You today on behalf of our brother or sister in this time of uncertainty. You are the God who sees, the God who provides, and the God who shelters. We ask that You open the doors to a new home that is safe, affordable, and in Your perfect timing. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that may be trying to take hold, and we declare that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray for favor with realtors, lenders, and sellers, that Your hand would guide every step of this process. Provide wisdom in decision-making and peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, if there are any areas where this situation has been mishandled or where fear has led to unwise choices, we ask for Your forgiveness and correction. Help our brother or sister to trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). We declare that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Surround them with Your angels to protect and guide them, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way during this time.
We also pray for provision beyond just the physical home. Lord, provide community, support, and encouragement from fellow believers who can walk alongside them. Let them experience Your love through the body of Christ. And Father, if there are any financial burdens or debts that are weighing heavily, we ask that You would make a way for them to be resolved according to Your will. You are Jehovah Jireh, our provider, and we trust in You.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would use this season for Your glory. Whether it is to draw them closer to You, to teach them to rely on You more fully, or to testify to others of Your faithfulness, let this time be one of spiritual growth and deeper dependence on You. We thank You in advance for the victory and the provision that is coming. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises and to seek Him daily in prayer and in His Word. This is not a time to lose heart, but a time to draw near to Him. Surround yourself with a community of believers who can pray with you and support you. The Lord is faithful, and He will not abandon you in this season. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). You are not alone—we are standing with you in faith, believing for God’s best for your life.
