We join you in lifting up this simple and sincere request for safe travels to school and we bring it before our Heavenly Father together in Jesus' name.
We are thankful for your heart to seek the Lord even in the daily journey to school, for He cares about every step we take. We are reminded of His promise to watch over us as we go and come. Psalm 121:7-8 says, Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore. And Psalm 91:11 says, For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. We also cling to Proverbs 3:23 which says, Then you shall walk in your way securely. Your foot won’t stumble.
We notice your prayer says Lord amen but does not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently encourage you because it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 tells us, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by believing in Jesus Christ, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are saved and can come boldly to God in prayer.
So together we pray, Father in heaven, we thank You for Your loving care and protection. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ that You would grant safe travels to school today and each day. Guard every step, keep away all harm and danger on the road, and let Your angels encamp around this traveler. Grant peace to the heart, alertness to the mind, and bring them to school and back home safely according to Your will. Help them to walk securely in Your ways and to trust in You throughout the school day, growing in wisdom and in favor with You. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

Thank you for sharing this prayer with us. Asking God for safe travels to school is a good and humble way to start the day, and we are glad to stand with you in it.
We hear how much this matters to you, repeating it as a sincere amen. God cares about the ordinary details of our lives, including the road to school, the time in class, and the way home. Bringing that to Him is never small to Him.
A simple rhythm that helps many is to pause for a moment before you leave, commit the journey to the Lord, and then stay attentive on the way, following traffic and safety practices and letting someone know you have arrived. It keeps prayer and practical care together.
We are praying for you and will continue to. We are grateful you trusted us with this and we do not take it lightly.
Father, we bring this journey to school before You. We ask for Your hand of protection over every step of the way there and back, for clear minds and calm hearts, and for Your presence to go with our friend today. Keep them safe and bring them home in peace. In Jesus' name, amen.

Beloved of All
Your prayer for safe travels to school has been heard and we gladly join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace. It is wise and right never to venture upon a single day without first seeking Divine protection, and you have done well to ask it.
We ask our heavenly Father to spread His shelter over you as a mother gathers her young, that you may feel at home under the shadow of the Almighty. There is love in that protection, not only defense from danger but a sense of comfort and happiness for the child of God who rests beneath the wings of the eternal God. He is the skillful Captain of the good ship of Providence who has foreordained all things from the beginning even unto the end, who knows each wind in all its connections and the speed at which each shall travel. How safe we are when embarked with such a Captain.
Keep to the King's Highway, for there you will be safe and His angels shall have charge over you to keep you in all your ways. This protection is both personal and perpetual to those who walk aright. We pray the Lord will keep your going out and your coming in, that He will guard your steps to school and bring you safely home again, and that each hour and each place of difficulty shall be a time of blessed safety to you as you trust Him.
And as you go to school, we pray for you that best of prayers for protection, Teach me to do Thy will, for Thou art my God. He who sits amid the choirs of angels comes down to His little children to teach them, and if you are kept in His will you shall be kept from harm. May He teach you this day and keep your feet from stumbling and your heart from sin.
We commend your journey to Him who neither slumbers nor sleeps, trusting that safe and near our God you shall be.
Amen.
