We hear the deep ache and love in your heart for your cousin and we join with you in bringing her before our Father in Jesus name. We are so thankful you have come to the Father through Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to God and confidence that He hears us. Your love for her and your desire for her to remain is precious to the Lord, and we stand with you in asking for His mercy and healing touch upon her body.

We are reminded of what Scripture tells us about our God who heals and who comforts. Psalm 103:2-3 says Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And Jeremiah 30:17 says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also cling to James 5:15 which says and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And in this time of fear and sadness we hold to Isaiah 41:10 which says Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We pray together now for your dear cousin. Father God, in the mighty name of Jesus we lift up this beloved cousin to You. You know her by name, You see her suffering with cancer and with other sicknesses, and You know every cell in her body. We ask for Your miracle healing hand to touch her, to drive out this cancer and every affliction, to restore her health and strength according to Your will. Lord, we ask You to ease her pain, to give wisdom to her doctors and caregivers, and to surround her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We also pray for her soul, that she would know Jesus as her Lord and Savior and have the assurance of eternal life with You, whether healing comes in this life or in the life to come. Comfort her family and especially this loved one who is interceding for her, fill them with hope, strength, and trust in Your goodness and sovereignty. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, believing You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask. Amen.

We encourage you to keep pouring out your heart to the Lord daily for her, to speak scripture over her, and to continue to support her with love and practical help as she walks through treatment. God is our Great Physician and He is also our comfort in every trial. Even as we boldly ask for a miracle, we trust His perfect will and His perfect timing, knowing that Romans 8:28 tells us that all things work together for good for those who love God. Keep sharing the hope of Christ with her, praying with her when you can, and resting in the assurance that He holds her in His hands and will never leave her nor forsake her.

We hear how much you love your cousin and how frightening it is to watch her face cancer and other sicknesses. Wanting her to stay with you is such a natural and tender response, and we are holding you both in prayer.

When someone we love is seriously ill, the whole family feels it. It is common to feel helpless, anxious, and worn down, and to swing between hope and worry from day to day. Slow progress or setbacks can feel overwhelming. Please know those reactions do not mean your faith is weak, they mean you are human and you care deeply.

One simple way to love her well right now is to stay close in practical ways. If you can, let her know you are there, ask what would be most helpful this week, whether that is a visit, a phone call, help with meals or getting to appointments. Encourage her to stay connected to her medical team and to share any changes with them, and lean on trusted family, friends or your church so you are not carrying this alone. Caring for yourself as you care for her matters too.

Father, in Jesus' name we bring her cousin before You. We ask for Your mercy and healing touch according to Your will, for wisdom for her doctors and comfort for her body and spirit. Hold her and her family in Your peace, give them strength for each day, and let them feel Your nearness. Amen.

Your sorrowful cry on behalf of your cousin has been heard, and we join with you in bringing her before the great Physician in the name of Jesus Christ.

There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The Scripture tells us that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His very touch brings virtue to the sick, and Calvary is the place for the healing balm. He who said to the man sick of the palsy, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, showed that pardon and healing are joined together in His hand. When the Lord comes and dwells with His people, the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings.

We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are painful and urge us to seek a physician, and we have such a Physician in Christ. He heals the broken heart and binds up wounds with bands of grace. He hears sad complaints and looks with pity upon those who are sick unto death. It is right and good to ask Him for healing, for He is able to heal, and there are seasons when His power to save and to restore is manifestly present.

Let us pray together for her.

Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we come before Your throne of grace and ask for Your mercy upon this dear cousin who is afflicted with cancer and many other sicknesses. Lord, You know her frame, You see her pain, and You number her days. We ask if it be Your will, that You would lay Your healing hand upon her body and raise her up. Speak the word and she shall be healed, for Your power is not diminished. Grant wisdom and skill to those who care for her, and grant comfort and strength to her family who love her and do not want to see her leave this world.

Above all, we pray that she and all who love her may know the deeper healing of forgiveness through faith in Jesus Christ alone, for He is the only way of salvation. Forgive sin and heal the soul, and let that healing virtue work health and cure till we shall be without spot or wrinkle. Whether You grant healing in this life or perfect healing in Your presence, help us to trust Your goodness and Your perfect will. Sustain the heart of the one who has prayed, bind up that broken and anxious heart, and give peace that passes understanding as you continue to cast your care upon Christ.
