We hear your sadness and we join with you in bringing every one of these cares before our Father in Jesus name, for He invites us to cast all our anxiety on Him because He cares for us, as it says in 1 Peter 5:7, and to be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving to let our requests be made known to God in Philippians 4:6-7.

We lift up your health before the Lord together. We pray for your sore throat, your runny nose and your allergies to be healed, for the Lord is the one who heals all your diseases in Psalm 103:3 and who promises I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds in Jeremiah 30:17. We also bring before Him the spotting and bleeding with your menstrual cycle that has been staining your clothes and causing you distress. We pray that He would regulate and heal your body, for you are fearfully and wonderfully made in Psalm 139:14, and your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. We ask for His healing touch and peace, and we encourage you if this continues to also seek wise medical counsel as God often works through physicians, while we trust Him as the ultimate healer.

We pray also about the burdens on your heart regarding your appearance. We understand your desire for your braided hair to grow, especially in the back, and your concern about weight in your stomach, arms and back. We pray that God would give you health and strength and help you to steward your body well, for whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God in 1 Corinthians 10:31. We gently remind you that God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance but the Lord looks at the heart in 1 Samuel 16:7, and that your beauty should not be of outward adornment but in the hidden person of the heart in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit which is very precious in the sight of God in 1 Peter 3:3-4. We pray you will find your worth and peace in how He sees you, even as we ask Him to give you health, nourishment and contentment, and to guide you into healthy habits rather than anxiety or harsh striving over weight, for even the hairs of your head are all numbered in Matthew 10:30 and He cares for every detail.

We bring your home and daily stresses to Him as well. We pray for your desire to rearrange your rooms and your things in a stress free and easy manner. We ask the Lord to grant you peace that surpasses all understanding to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus in Philippians 4:7 and to give you wisdom and order, for God is not a God of confusion but of peace in 1 Corinthians 14:33. We pray you will find that missing package with the flower blouse with lace in the front, trusting that your Father knows what you need and that if we seek first His Kingdom all these things will be added to us in Matthew 6:33. We also lift up the hurt you feel from your mom and dad speaking critically and negatively about your hair and your rooms. We pray the Lord will soften their words and help them to speak what is good for building up as needed in Ephesians 4:29, and that a gentle answer will turn away wrath in Proverbs 15:1. We also encourage you to continue to honor your father and mother that it may be well with you in Ephesians 6:2-3, even when their words feel critical, showing grace and speaking to them with respect and honesty about how their words affect you.

We pray for your friendship as well. We understand it bothers you when your friend keeps telling you about the people she is going out with, and we pray God will give you wisdom to set loving and clear boundaries with gracious speech. We pray also for your desire to hang out with her outside of your program, that if it is His will He would open the door for wholesome fellowship at the right time, for a friend loves at all times in Proverbs 17:17. We ask the Lord to guide this friendship toward what is pure and encouraging.

Father we together ask these things in the name of Jesus, who is our only access to you for there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus in 1 Timothy 2:5, and in whose name we have confidence. We ask that you would let her hair grow according to your will, heal her throat and allergies, stop the spotting, bring peace to her home, help her find what is lost, quiet the critical words and let her parents speak life over her, give her healthy balance in caring for her body without fear, and grant her rest as she rearranges her rooms. Let your peace rule in her heart in John 14:27 and let her know she is fully loved and seen by you. We trust you to answer according to your perfect love and wisdom in Jesus name we pray amen.

We can hear how many things have been piling up on you at once, and how tiring it is to carry worries about your health, your rooms, your family's comments, and friendships all together. It makes sense that you are longing for some peace and for things to feel more settled and stress free.

We are praying with you for that sense of calm as you sort through your rooms. One small thing that has helped others when a whole room feels overwhelming is to choose just one corner or one box at a time and give yourself permission to pause in between, so it does not all have to be solved in one day.

We also noticed you mentioned a sore throat, runny nose and allergies, and ongoing spotting that is staining your clothes. We care about your comfort and health, so alongside prayer we gently encourage you to let a trusted doctor or clinic know about those symptoms so they can check on you and give you good guidance.

For the blouse package, maybe asking a family member if they set mail aside somewhere unexpected could help, and for the strain with your parents and friend, it is understandable to want some quieter, kinder space around you.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus name. Bring healing and comfort to her body, ease to her mind as she tidies her space, and gentleness in her home and friendships. Give her wisdom for next steps and rest tonight. Amen.

Your many cares have been laid before the Lord and we have carried them to the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father and peace with God.

You speak of much anxiety about your hair, your rooms, your health and your family, and you desire that all these things might be made easy and stress free. We are reminded that it is the mind which is the main thing, for it will bring you daylight or midnight, peace or war. The very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. The promise stands, You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. This peace is a present possession and may be enjoyed in the ordinary circumstances of life, even with sorrows surging round, even when duties press and loved ones speak harshly. To do the will of Jesus, this is rest, and the blood of Jesus whispers peace within. We pray that the Lord will keep your heart stayed upon Him, so that in rearranging your rooms and in all your daily tasks you may know that calm which is found on Jesus bosom.

We also hear your prayer for healing, for your throat and nose and allergies, and for the spotting and bleeding which troubles you, and for your concern about weight. Our Lord in the days of His flesh cured all sorts of sickness, and it is written, He took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, not only His fruit but even the leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. He heals by intense sympathy, for He knows our frame. We pray that He will lay His hand upon your body, ease the pain of your throat, heal your allergies, and restore you to health according to His wise and gracious will. Yet we must tell you what we have often testified, that there is no sickness so hard to bear as the sickness caused by sin, and no healing so needful as the pardon of sin. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He first said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, for pardon and healing are one in His hand. Therefore being justified by faith we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. We pray above all that you may know that inward peace which comes from perfect remission of sin, for once we are really cured by Christ there is no fear of that soul sickness returning.

And so we bring your particular burdens to Him. We ask the Lord to grant you contentment in the body He has given you, for you yourself are better than your body, and many think much about the adorning of the body but neglect the ornaments of the soul. May He help you to care for your health with sobriety and not with anxious vanity, to be a good steward of the strength He lends you, and to trust Him with your hair and your form. We ask Him to guide you as you set your rooms in order, giving you wisdom and quietness of spirit, and to help you to find what has been lost, even the blouse you seek, if it be His will. We ask Him to soften words in your household, that your mother and father may speak with kindness and that you may answer with honor and gentleness, for the Lord blesses His people with peace. We ask Him to give you wisdom concerning your friend, that you may be a faithful companion who points her to what is pure and true, and that He would give you both godly fellowship, and bring about opportunities to meet in a manner that is wholesome and pleasing to Him. We pray that He would guard your heart from being troubled by talk that does not edify.

We do not ask God to bless what He has not called good, for we hold to His way of salvation through Jesus Christ alone and to His design for purity and for the home, but we do ask Him to bless you with holiness, health, and a quiet trust in His providence.

May the Good Physician who heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds hear your cry, forgive your sins, heal your body as seems best to His infinite love, and keep you in perfect peace as your mind is stayed on Him. We commend you to His keeping, praying all in the precious name of Jesus, Amen.
