We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this burden of sadness, financial stress, and emotional pain. First and foremost, we must address the foundation of our prayers—it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved, and it is by His grace alone that we can approach God’s throne with confidence. Acts 4:12 tells us, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and surrender your life to Him. This is the first step toward true peace and hope.
Now, we lift up your financial struggles to the Lord, who promises to provide for His children. Philippians 4:19 assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We pray that the Lord would open doors for you to recover what has been lost—whether through the gift card refund or another provision He has prepared. We ask that He would grant you favor with those in authority over these matters, that they would act with justice and compassion. We also pray for wisdom in managing your finances, that you would trust in God’s provision rather than being consumed by anxiety. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."*
We are deeply concerned by the harsh words and bullying you are enduring. Scripture is clear that our words have power, and Proverbs 18:21 tells us, *"Death and life are in the power of the tongue."* We rebuke in Jesus’ name every cruel and demeaning word spoken over you. We pray that the Lord would silence those who are speaking negativity into your life and that He would fill their hearts with repentance and kindness. You are fearfully and wonderfully made in God’s image (Psalm 139:14), and no one has the right to tear you down. We ask that the Lord would heal your heart from this emotional pain and restore your joy. Romans 12:19 instructs us, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’"* Trust that God sees your suffering and will bring justice in His perfect timing.
Regarding your concerns about weight and appearance, we encourage you to seek God’s perspective on your worth. 1 Samuel 16:7 reminds us, *"For Yahweh sees not as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart."* While it is not wrong to desire health or to care for your body, we must guard our hearts against placing our identity in outward appearances. If this struggle is causing you distress, we pray that the Lord would give you peace and contentment in who He created you to be. We also encourage you to seek godly counsel if this is an area of ongoing struggle, as our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).
Finally, we pray for strength and perseverance for you. Isaiah 41:10 declares, *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* The Lord is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and He will not abandon you in this season. We ask that He would fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and that He would surround you with His love and protection.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of compassion for this dear one who is hurting. We ask that You would move mightily on their behalf, Lord. Provide for their financial needs, soften the hearts of those who are speaking harshly, and heal the wounds caused by their words. Give them strength to endure this trial and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to fix their eyes on You, the Author and Perfecter of their faith. We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and depression in Jesus’ name, and we declare that joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5). Surround them with Your love, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
