We come before You, Father God, with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who is feeling overwhelmed and unsupported in so many areas of life. We thank You that they have called upon Your name, for there is power in the name of Jesus, and no request is too small or too great for Your loving care. Lord, we ask that You would move mightily on their behalf, providing for their needs and lifting their burdens.
First, we pray for provision, specifically for the denture tablets they need. Father, You know every detail of their situation, and You have promised in Your Word, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). We ask that You would open a door for this need to be met, whether through their mother’s help or another unexpected blessing. Provide the resources they lack, Lord, and remind them that You are Jehovah-Jireh, their Provider.
We also lift up the art contest they are entering. Father, You are the ultimate Creator, and You have placed gifts and talents within each of Your children. We ask that You would grant them clarity, confidence, and creativity as they prepare their submission. Calm their fears and anxieties, reminding them that "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7). If it is Your will, we pray they would succeed in this contest, not for their glory, but for Yours, so that others may see Your hand at work in their life. But above all, we ask that You would help them trust in Your timing and Your plans, knowing that "in all things God works for the good of those who love him" (Romans 8:28).
We are grieved to hear of the loneliness and rejection they are feeling from their friend. Father, You are near to the brokenhearted, and You promise to never leave or forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:6). We pray that You would soften this friend’s heart and help them see the value of true, Christ-centered friendship. If this relationship is not honoring to You or reflective of Your love, we ask that You would bring godly friends into their life who will encourage, support, and walk alongside them in faith. Remind them, Lord, that You are their closest Friend, and in You, they are never truly alone.
Father, we also want to gently address the mention of a friend spending the night while they are excluded. We do not know the full context, but we want to encourage them to seek relationships that honor You and align with biblical principles. If this situation involves anything contrary to Your design for purity and godly relationships, we pray for wisdom and discernment. Help them to set boundaries that reflect Your holiness and to surround themselves with friends who will build them up in the faith.
We also notice their financial struggles, and we ask that You would provide for their needs in ways that only You can. Teach them to trust in You as their source, not in their own strength or the generosity of others alone. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths" (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Finally, we want to remind them of the hope they have in You. No matter how difficult life may feel right now, You are working all things together for their good. We pray that they would draw near to You, casting all their anxieties on You because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray:
Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious child of Yours to You now. You see their needs, their fears, and their desires, and we ask that You would move in power on their behalf. Provide for their physical needs, Lord, and open doors for their art to be seen and celebrated if it aligns with Your will. Comfort their heart in the loneliness they feel, and surround them with friends who will reflect Your love. Give them wisdom in their relationships and finances, and help them to trust in You above all else. Remind them that they are deeply loved by You, and that in You, they lack no good thing. Fill them with Your peace, joy, and hope as they wait on You. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
