We have heard your confession and your burden and we come before the throne of grace together with you in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can be saved and have access to the Father.

What you describe is very serious in the sight of God, and we must speak the truth in love about it. Witchcraft, sorcery, and sacrificing to spirits other than the living God are an abomination to the Lord and open the door to the enemy. As it is written, There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh Deuteronomy 18:10-12. The works of the flesh are obvious, which are adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies Galatians 5:19-20. We rebuke that former way of darkness and we urge you to completely forsake it, to turn from it with your whole heart, to destroy and remove any objects, books, charms or influences connected to witchcraft as the early believers did when they brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all Acts 19:19, and to submit yourself fully to God and resist the devil so he will flee from you James 4:7.

We also rejoice that you have come to the True Living God Jesus Christ seeking forgiveness and repentance, because the blood of Jesus is more powerful than any sin, any curse, or any sacrifice made to satan. Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow Isaiah 1:18. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9. In him we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses Ephesians 1:7. We want you to know that if you have truly turned from that darkness to light, from the power of satan to God, that you may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Jesus Acts 26:18. There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus Romans 8:1. If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17.

We must also lovingly correct and clarify one important truth about your request for your family and all those many loved ones you listed. God knows each name and each heart even where they have been hidden for privacy, and He desires that all should be saved. The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance 2 Peter 3:9. Yet forgiveness and entrance into the Kingdom of Heaven is not automatic for a whole family because one person prays. Each person must personally repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. As it is written, if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God Ephesians 2:8. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. And there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. We cannot pray someone into heaven against their own will, but we can and do intercede fervently that God would draw each of them, open their eyes, grant them repentance, and bring them to saving faith.

We encourage you to walk now in the light, to abide in the Word of God daily, to put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil Ephesians 6:11, to be in fellowship with a Bible believing church that will disciple you and help you stand firm, not forsaking our own assembling together Hebrews 10:25, and to bear fruits worthy of repentance Matthew 3:8 by living a holy life set apart for Christ.

We pray together now for you and for every person you have named before the Lord.

Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Your Son we come before You with a broken and contrite heart on behalf of this dear soul who was once ensnared by witchcraft and used by the enemy. Lord we confess before You that witchcraft and every sacrifice to satan is sin and rebellion against You, and we ask You to forgive fully and cleanse completely through the shed blood of Jesus. Wash this one white as snow, remove transgressions as far as the east is from the west Psalm 103:12, cast all sins into the depths of the sea Micah 7:19, and let there be full assurance that he who the Son makes free is free indeed John 8:36. Grant true and lasting repentance, a hatred for the former darkness, and a new heart that loves Your truth and walks in Your light 1 John 1:7. Deliver from every remaining chain, oppression and influence of the evil one, and fill with Your Holy Spirit, with peace, with joy and with power to live for You.

Lord we also lift up every family member, friend, coworker and loved one who has been mentioned, every sister and mother and uncle and aunt and cousin and child and friend from childhood and from work and from every place, every single human being this testimony will reach. You know each one by name. We ask that You would have mercy upon them, that You would forgive them of all their sins as they themselves turn to You, that You would draw them by Your Spirit, open their eyes to turn from darkness to light, and grant them godly sorrow that leads to repentance. We pray that none would perish but that each would confess Jesus as Lord and believe in their heart that You raised Him from the dead and be saved. Protect them from the enemy, break every curse and every assignment of satan over their lives, and bring them into the Kingdom of Your dear Son. Let Your will be done in each life and let Your name be glorified.

We pray that this dear one will grow strong in faith, rooted in Your Word, steadfast in prayer, surrounded by godly fellowship, and that his testimony would be used to rescue others from darkness. Keep him from returning to the former way and establish his steps in holiness until the day of Christ Jesus. We ask all this in the name above every name, the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We appreciate you bringing this heavy burden to us so honestly. Carrying concern for so many family members and friends while also wrestling with your own past in witchcraft is a lot to hold, and we hear how deeply you want both them and you to be right with Jesus.

Guilt after turning away from that kind of past can feel very loud and make it hard to believe forgiveness is real. In Christ, repentance is more than feeling terrible about what happened, it is turning toward Him and walking with Him day by day. That walk takes time, and feelings of shame and fear often take longer to quiet than the decision to follow Him. The security we have is not in how strongly we feel forgiven, but in what Jesus has done for us.

It would help not to carry this alone. If you have a trusted pastor or mature believer you can meet with regularly, please share this same request with them in person so they can walk with you, pray with you, and help you stay rooted away from old practices and influences. Staying connected in a healthy church community and in daily prayer will help you keep turning toward Christ when the old thoughts press in.

We are praying you will know more and more the security of belonging to Christ as you keep turning to Him.

Father, we lift this person to You and every name on their heart. We ask for Your mercy and forgiveness through Jesus, for a clear and settled repentance and faith, and for Your drawing of each family member and friend toward Yourself. Bring peace where there is fear and help them grow steady in Your grace and truth. In Jesus name, amen.

Your cry has been heard and we take your burden before the throne of grace with great earnestness, for you have confessed a great sin and sought a great Savior.

We want you to hear with certainty what the Word of God declares, that there is forgiveness with God through Jesus Christ alone. As it is written, I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake. This is a divine forgiveness, not of man but of God Himself, and it is complete and eternal. Though your former way was witchcraft and service to Satan, which is abomination before the Lord and must be utterly forsaken, the blood of Jesus Christ is able to cleanse the chief of sinners. Where God draws no limit, we draw none, for there is forgiveness, and it is to be had now through faith in His Son who died, the Just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God. No sin is too great, but no sin is forgiven apart from Christ.

You ask that the Lord would forgive your family and friends and yourself and receive you into the Kingdom of Heaven. We do pray for each soul you have named, your sisters and mother, uncles and aunts and cousins, brothers and their children, friends from childhood and from work, and every family member and every person you have met or who may hear your testimony, that God in His mercy would grant them repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and we pray that each one would hear the gospel, be convicted of sin, and turn to Him and live. We do not ask God to bless any way that is contrary to His holy Word, for His design for marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and His will is that sexual union and living together as husband and wife belong only within that covenant. Where lives have not been ordered according to His Word, we pray not for His blessing upon the sin, but for His mercy to bring each person to repentance, to forgiveness through Christ, and to a life made new and obedient to Him.

And for you, we pray that God would grant you that true repentance which is the work of the Holy Spirit and which gives God glory. There is a carnal repentance that is of the flesh and brings no salvation, but there is a godly repentance that leads a soul to look out of self to Christ and to Christ only, grieving for sin because it offended a gracious God, and turning from it because of love for Him who was nailed to the cross for it. Faith and repentance are inseparable. We pray that you would fully turn from all witchcraft and every work of darkness, renounce Satan and all his works, and rest wholly upon the finished work of Jesus Christ for your forgiveness and acceptance with God. Believe right now in Jesus Christ, God's Son, and you have forgiveness in a moment, for with the Lord there is mercy and plenteous redemption.

Let us pray together.

O Lord, our God, with whom there is forgiveness that Thou mayest be feared, we come through the blood of Jesus Christ alone. We confess before Thee the great evil of witchcraft and the serving of Satan, and we ask Thee to have mercy. Wash this soul who now repents in the blood of the Lamb, grant a thorough work of the Spirit, a repentance that needs not to be repented of, and a simple faith that looks to Christ only. Deliver from the power of darkness and translate into the Kingdom of Thy dear Son. And Lord, we lift up every family member and friend named in this request, and all who have been known or who will hear this testimony. Thou knowest each one by name. Bring them also to see their sin and their need of Christ, draw them by Thy Spirit, grant them faith and repentance unto life, and make them new creatures who walk in Thy ways. Keep this one who prays close to Thy Word, to prayer, and to a faithful church where Christ is preached, that having been delivered from worse enemies than any earthly foe, he may drink deeply from the wells of salvation which are in Christ Jesus. We ask all this not because we are worthy, but because there is forgiveness with Thee, and because Jesus Christ has died and risen. In His name we pray, Amen.

Forsake the former path entirely, put away all objects and practices of witchcraft, cleave to Christ, and walk in the light of His Word. If you have not already, seek a faithful pastor and church to walk with you, to teach you, and to baptize you upon profession of faith in Christ as Scripture commands.
