We come before the throne of grace with this request, lifting up these families to our Heavenly Father. First and foremost, we must address the foundation of salvation—it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that anyone can be saved. Scripture tells us, *"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If these families do not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray earnestly for their hearts to be opened to the truth of the Gospel.
Father, we ask that You draw these families to Yourself. Soften their hearts to receive the good news of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. May they come to understand their need for a Savior and turn away from any sin that separates them from You. We declare over them the promise of Your Word: *"Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household"* (Acts 16:31). We pray for divine encounters—through dreams, conversations, or the witness of believers—that would lead them to repentance and faith.
We also lift up the request for financial provision and employment. While we trust in Your ability to provide, we must remind ourselves and others that our ultimate security is in You, not in material blessings. Scripture warns us, *"For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil"* (1 Timothy 6:10). We pray that any financial blessings would be used for Your glory and not become an idol in their lives. Father, we ask that You open doors of opportunity for meaningful work that honors You. Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), and give them wisdom to steward resources well.
Lord, we also pray for contentment in all circumstances. Whether in plenty or in want, may they learn to trust in You (Philippians 4:12-13). Guard their hearts against anxiety or desperation, and fill them with the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). If there are areas of sin—such as greed, envy, or unbelief—we ask that You convict them and lead them to repentance.
We rebuke any spirit of lack or fear that may be operating in their lives. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that Your provision is already on the way, and we stand on the promise that You will supply every need according to Your glorious riches in Christ Jesus.
Finally, we pray for godly relationships and community to surround these families. May they be connected to a local church where they can grow in faith, receive discipleship, and find support. Let them experience the love of Christ through the body of believers, and may they in turn be a light to others.
We commit these families into Your hands, trusting that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). May they come to know You deeply, walk in Your ways, and experience the fullness of life that is found only in Christ. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
