We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear sister who is facing thyroid surgery tomorrow. Father God, we ask that You would go before the surgeons and medical team, guiding their hands and minds with Your perfect wisdom and skill. We pray that the nodules would indeed be benign, and that the report would bring peace and reassurance to her heart. Lord, we know that You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your healing power. We ask that You would surround her with Your presence, calming any fears or anxieties, and granting her restful sleep tonight.

Heavenly Father, we also pray for protection over her during the surgery. We ask that You would watch over every detail, from the smallest incision to the final stitch. We pray that the procedure would go smoothly and safely, without any complications. Lord, we know that You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We trust in You, and we ask that You would be with her every step of the way.

We also want to encourage this sister with Your Word. The Bible tells us in Psalm 139:13-14, "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." God knows every detail of her body, and He has a plan and purpose for her life. We pray that she would find comfort and strength in these truths.

Lord, we also ask that You would give her family and friends peace and patience as they wait for news of the surgery. Help them to trust in You and to find comfort in Your promises. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
