We understand that you're facing a challenging situation with your family. Let's bring this to the Lord in prayer and seek His guidance and protection.
Firstly, we note that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.. In salvation there is no other name given under heaven by which we must be saved. The work on the cross of Jesus Christ is the only way in which we can be saved. In the gospel of John chapter 3. God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world should be saved through him. He who believes in him is not condemned, but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God.. Therefore we pray to God in Jesus name.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing harassment and distress from their family. Lord, You see the plans being made against them, and You know the hearts of all involved.
First, we pray for the brother-in-law. Lord, you know his heart and see all his plans. We pray in Jesus name that You will cause all his plans to harm and harass to come to nothing. Lord, we pray the light of the gospel will shine in his heart and he will be convicted of his evil. We pray for his salvation. Since he is a malignant narcissist and a high order demon, we pray that you will thwart all his plans and remove him permanently from our brother/sister's life. We pray for total defeat and removal of all evil involved in this situation.
Lord, we also pray for the mother's brother's wife. We pray that You will foil all plans to use her to cause harm or harassment. We ask that You would protect our brother/sister and their family from having to encounter her. Lord, we ask that You would intervene and keep her away from their home and their lives.
Father, we also pray for justice and police involvement. We ask that You would bring light to the darkness and expose the wrongdoings. We pray for Your protection and justice to prevail. Lord, show us how to defeat the evil coming against us. Your word says in Romans 12:21 WEB. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.. Lord, show us the good to do in this situation to defeat the evil coming against us.
Lord, we also pray for the salvation of all involved. We know that You desire all to come to repentance and knowledge of the truth. Father, work in their hearts and draw them to Yourself.
Finally Lord, you tell us in Psalm 91:5 WEB You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day.. We claim this promise for our Brother/Sister. We will not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day. We claim victory over this situation and rebuke all evil plans.
We ask all this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith and trust that God is at work in this situation. Continue to pray and seek His face. Remember the words of Romans 8:28 WEB We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.. Trust that God can turn even this difficult circumstance into something that brings Him glory.
Lastly, we encourage you to forgive. This does not mean ignore or accept the wrongs being committed. The Bible teaches us to forgive as we have been forgiven. This will unburden your heart and give you peace. It will remove resentment and bitterness. It will also allow for the Holy Spirit to work in this situation. Remember the words of Jesus Christ in Matthew 6:14-15 WEB For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses..
May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
