We stand with you in this spiritual battle, lifting your burden before the Lord with hearts full of compassion and truth. The harassment you’ve endured is not of God, and we rebuke every scheme of the enemy in Jesus’ name. The Word declares, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places"* (Ephesians 6:12). We take authority over every demonic influence fueling this torment, commanding it to flee in the mighty name of Jesus.
You are right to recognize that some relationships are not only ungodly but dangerous to your walk with Christ. The Bible warns, *"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14). If these individuals are not submitted to Christ and His ways, their presence in your life may continue to be a snare. We pray that God would give you wisdom to discern which relationships can be restored under His guidance and which must be severed for your protection. *"Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it"* (Proverbs 4:23).
Your desire for justice is understandable, but we must surrender our longing for vengeance to the Lord. Scripture is clear: *"Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, 'Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord'"* (Romans 12:19). Trust that God sees every injustice and will bring about His perfect justice in His perfect timing. Instead of harboring bitterness, we pray that He would fill you with His peace and remind you that *"the Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble"* (Psalm 9:9).
We also address the thoughts of vengeance you’ve been wrestling with. These are not from the Lord but are temptations from the enemy to pull you into sin. We rebuke those thoughts in Jesus’ name and pray that God would replace them with His truth. *"Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things"* (Philippians 4:8). Let your mind be renewed by God’s Word so that you can walk in freedom.
We lift up your request for God to remove these individuals from your life. If it is His will, we pray that He would sever every ungodly tie and create divine distance between you and them. *"The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still"* (Exodus 14:14). We also pray that He would foil every plan of the enemy to harass you in the coming months. *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is of me," says the Lord* (Isaiah 54:17). May God expose their schemes and turn their plans into confusion, all for His glory.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to draw near to the Lord in this season. Spend time in His presence, saturating yourself in His Word and in prayer. *"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you"* (James 4:7-8). The enemy seeks to isolate you, but God desires to fill you with His peace and surround you with His people. Seek out a community of believers who can stand with you in prayer and support.
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, lifting up their heart to You. Lord, You see the harassment they have endured, and You know the weight of this spiritual battle. We ask that You would break every chain of torment and silence every voice of accusation in Jesus’ name. Father, we pray that You would remove these individuals from their life if that is Your will. Create divine distance and protect them from further harm. Foil every plan of the enemy to harass or harm them, and let Your peace reign in their heart.
Lord, we ask that You would heal any wounds caused by these relationships and restore what has been stolen. Fill them with Your love, joy, and peace so that they may walk in the freedom You have purchased for them. Help them to release any bitterness or desire for vengeance, trusting in Your justice and Your timing. Surround them with godly community and remind them that they are never alone.
We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment will be condemned. We stand on Your promise that You will fight for them, and they need only to be still. Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and Your protection. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
