We lift up this precious brother in Christ’s family before the throne of grace, joining our hearts with yours in fervent prayer. We thank God for the signs of His mercy already shown, this brother’s awakening, the glimmer of hope in his recovery, and the openness of his heart to spiritual things. Father, we declare Your sovereignty over every detail of his healing. You are the God who knits us together in our mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13), who numbers every hair on our heads (Matthew 10:30), and who holds all life in Your hands. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, every lingering effect of illness, and every attack of the enemy against his body, mind, and spirit. By the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promise that by His wounds, we are made whole.

Lord, we pray not only for physical restoration but for the salvation of this entire family. You desire all to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9), and we ask that You would soften their hearts to receive the truth of the Gospel. Open their eyes to see Jesus not just as a spiritual concept, but as the risen Lord, the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). Father, let this trial be the catalyst that draws them to You. May they witness Your power in this healing and be compelled to surrender their lives to Christ. We declare that no one comes to the Father except through Jesus (John 14:6), and we plead the blood of Jesus over this family, that they would be saved, sanctified, and set free.

We also want to gently address the mention of belief in "spiritual things" and "God" without specific faith in Jesus Christ. Scripture is clear: "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). While it is encouraging that this brother acknowledges a higher power, we must pray that he and his family come to know the name of Jesus, the only name that brings salvation (Romans 10:13). Without Christ, there is no true relationship with God, no forgiveness of sins, and no eternal life. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict them of this truth and lead them to repentance and faith in Jesus alone.

Father, we also lift up the one who posted this request. Thank You for their faithfulness in interceding for this family. Strengthen them in their own walk with You, and let them be a light to those around them. May their prayers and witness bear much fruit for Your kingdom. We declare that this family will not only experience physical healing but will also be born again into Your family. Let them see that Jesus is Lord, and let their lives be transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician, the Author of Salvation, and the King of Kings. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified in every way. Amen.

We are so thankful to hear that your brother has woken up, that is truly a wonderful step, and we join you in giving God glory for this movement. The gratitude you already feel and the joy of his improving condition are worth holding onto right now.

Your brother’s body has been through a great deal, and we know the recovery road can feel slow and uncertain, especially when he is still not feeling well. It is completely understandable that you long to see him completely healed and home by the target date. Let’s keep pressing into that specific hope in prayer together, asking the Lord each day. Thank God for the progress already made, and keep asking boldly for full restoration.

We also hear your deeper heart-cry for his salvation and that of your whole family. The fact that he connected even a small part of his improvement to prayer is a tender sign that the Spirit is already at work. We can keep standing in the gap for them, praying that each mercy they witness, including his ongoing recovery, would draw their eyes to Jesus, the true Healer.

Please know we are continuing to lift him and your whole family before the throne of grace, trusting God with both body and soul.

Lord Jesus, we bring this brother before You right now. He has woken up, and we praise You for that mercy. We ask You to complete what You have begun. Touch every part of his body that is still struggling, calm his discomfort, and restore his strength fully so he can go home safely by the date his family hopes for. Beyond physical healing, we long for him and his whole family to meet You truly, to know without a doubt that You are Lord. Let Your kindness lead them to repentance and faith. Sustain our friend who is praying so fervently; renew their hope and let them see clear answers. In Your mighty name, amen.

It is a mercy to hear that your brother has been awakened from his deep slumber, and we must give thanks to God for this token of His patience. Yet our intercessions cannot rest until he is raised up in full bodily health and, far more importantly, raised from the death of sin into the life which is in Christ Jesus. You have asked for his healing, and we join with you in that supplication; but the true healing of the soul must be sought first, for what profit would it be to gain the whole world of health and lose his own soul? The leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about our blessed Lord has virtue in it; but the leaf is not merely for the body, it changes the very lifeblood of the inner man. We pray that he may know the transformation which comes through faith in the Son of God.

Tell your brother plainly that Christ is no mere helper of those in bodily distress, but the only Saviour of sinners. The Scripture declares, "Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed." This is the way of salvation: not by deeds, not by offerings, not by vague belief that God exists, but by trusting the Person of Jesus Christ with all his weight of guilt and need. His waking from the slumber of his sickness was a kindness, but the true awakening is when a man sees that he is lost and casts himself wholly upon the finished work of Calvary. Let no thought of a purchased dinner rest in his mind as though prayers were bartered for; salvation is without money and without price, the free gift of God to every soul that looks unto Christ and lives.

We have before us a wonderful example in the jailer of Philippi. He was a rough, unlikely hearer, yet in one night he believed, was baptized, and all his household rejoiced. The Lord uses one snatched from the brink to draw the whole family into the gospel net. Therefore be urgent in prayer and in speaking the word of life to them all, that not only your brother but every soul under that roof may taste the common salvation. It is God’s salvation from first to last, devised by His wisdom, purchased by His Son, applied by His Spirit, and it is suited for every sinner, exactly made on purpose for him. Bid them look unto Jesus and be saved, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. The great Physician has healing for the body as He wills, but His unfailing cure is for the sin-sick soul. Let your brother’s restoration, if the Lord grant it, cause all to see that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Continue praying, continue trusting, and may the joy of a renewed household be yours in time and in eternity.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request has been heard, and your zeal for your brother’s body and soul is a fragrant offering. It is good that you rejoice over his awakening, for every good gift comes from above. Yet do not rest only in this. You have asked for his complete healing and for the salvation of his whole house. That is a greater thing, and it pleases God when we labor for the soul as well as the body. For what does it profit a man to gain his health and lose his own self?

Consider how the Apostle Paul pleaded for Onesimus, saying, “If you count me as a partner, receive him as myself.” So you become an intercessor for your brother, not merely requesting his bodily recovery, but putting his debts to your own account in prayer, longing that he be received by Christ. You have not prayed only with words posted here; you have set your heart to gain your brother, and that is a work of love. Truly, there is a common loss when enmity or ignorance separates us from God, but there is a common gain when one is brought back.

Beware of allowing mere belief in spiritual things to be enough. The demons also believe, and shudder. Salvation is not in acknowledging that God exists, but in confessing Jesus Christ as Lord and being joined to Him through faith and baptism. You ask that they might see that Jesus Christ is Lord. That is the prayer of faith. Persist in it, but also speak and act. Let your own life become a living homily, that by your gentle conduct they might be drawn to the Truth. The God of mercies often uses our prayers and our sufferings together, for as the Apostle says, whether we be afflicted, it is for the comfort and salvation of others.

Do not grow weary. Even if your brother now resists, remember that Christ came not to judge the world, but to save it. He endures much that He might win but one. So you, too, endure, and with much patience give thanks even for this small beginning. The fact that he attributed his waking to your prayers opens a door. Walk through it with humility, giving all glory to God, and do not let the offer of a dinner be your reward; let your reward be his soul.

Lift him up daily in prayer, but do not pray alone. Beseech the Lord with fasting and almsgiving, for such things, together with hearing the word and fortitude, build a firm foundation for salvation. And remember: a brother cannot redeem a brother by gold or human power, but he can, by a life of fervent intercession and love, become an instrument in the hands of Him who redeemed us with His own blood. Then, when he is truly gained, body and soul, there will be joy not only among those who know him, but before the angels of heaven. To God be the glory.

Thank you for sharing this request and for your heart for your brother and your family. It is right to seek the Lord earnestly for physical healing, and we join you in asking that he be completely restored and sent home whole, to the glory of God. The fact that he has already woken up and shown signs of improvement is an encouragement; we give thanks for every mercy, and we keep pressing in for the full work.

Yet, as you have already discerned, the deeper need is the salvation of your brother and the whole family. Physical recovery is temporary, but the eternal destiny of a soul matters infinitely more. There is a truth we must hold close: it would be better to enter eternal life with a body that has suffered than to be whole in this world and lost forever. So we pray most urgently that through this trial, their eyes would be opened to see that Jesus Christ is Lord not only in name, but as the Risen King to whom every knee must bow.

I am reminded of the story of Joseph, who was separated from his younger brother Benjamin for many years. When they were finally brought face to face, Joseph’s heart was so moved that he could barely contain himself. God had arranged every hardship and every twist of providence to preserve his family and to restore broken relationships. In a similar way, your brother’s illness may be a moment God is using to draw him home in a far greater sense. Joseph’s brothers once had no mercy, but later they were brought to repentance and a true reunion. Trust that the Lord is at work, even now, behind the scenes.

Your love for your brother is clear, and it is a reflection of the concern we should carry for our own flesh and blood. But Scripture also tells us that whoever does the will of God is brother and sister and mother to Jesus. There is a family bond in Christ that runs deeper than blood. As you pray for your brother’s healing, pray with even greater passion that he and your whole household would be brought into that eternal family, where the ties cannot be broken. The confession of Jesus as Lord, if it comes from a heart that truly believes, leads to salvation and joy that outlasts all earthly suffering.

Let this situation also be a moment to examine your own walk. Sometimes we can settle short of full obedience, like Jacob who paused at Shechem when God had called his family all the way back to Hebron. Those years of compromise brought pain and pollution into his household. Be steadfast in setting a spiritual example before your family. Let your life demonstrate that Jesus is your treasure, and continue to call on His name without wavering, trusting that He is able to do more than you ask or imagine.

So we stand with you, asking for a healing that glorifies God and causes many to rejoice. But we ask even more that every person in that household would come to genuine, saving faith, so that whether in health or in sickness, they belong to Christ. May the Lord resurrect not only a sick body but dead souls, for His eternal praise.

We are so grateful that you entrusted us with the privilege of standing in prayer for your brother during this difficult time. It is a blessing to join with you in lifting him before the Lord, asking for His healing touch and divine intervention. We are encouraged to hear that your brother woke up, and we give God all the glory for the progress he has made so far. Your faith and persistence in seeking the Lord on his behalf—and for the salvation of your entire family—are truly inspiring.

If your brother has experienced complete healing and has been released to return home, we would love to celebrate this miracle with you. Please share a praise report so we can rejoice together and give thanks to God for His faithfulness. If, however, he is still in need of healing or facing ongoing challenges, we want you to know that we are still here to stand with you in prayer. Please post this request again, and we will continue to lift him up, trusting that God is at work even when we cannot see it.

We also continue to pray for the salvation of your family, that their hearts would be opened to the truth of Jesus Christ and that they would come to know Him as Lord. May the Lord use this situation to draw them closer to Himself, and may His name be glorified in every detail. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your journey—we are honored to walk alongside you in faith.

May God bless you abundantly as you continue to seek Him, and may His peace and presence surround you and your family. We pray all these things in the powerful and mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
