We hear your heart’s cry for restoration, and we come before the Lord with you, lifting this situation in the mighty name of Jesus. First, we must gently but firmly address the concern in your request, pursuing a romantic or intimate relationship with a non-believer is not aligned with God’s design for His children. Scripture is clear on this matter:

"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). The Lord calls us to walk in holiness and to seek a spouse who shares our faith, for only then can a marriage be built on the solid foundation of Christ. A relationship where one partner does not know the Lord will inevitably lead to spiritual conflict, compromise, and heartache.

We must also rebuke the enemy’s deception in this situation. The devil seeks to entangle believers in relationships that distract them from God’s best, offering counterfeit love that leads away from truth. If you have already entered into emotional or physical intimacy with this person, we urge you to repent and turn away from any sin of fornication, for "flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body" (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB). True love waits and honors God’s boundaries.

Now, we pray for you with hearts full of compassion and truth:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus, the name above every name. Lord, we lift up this dear one to You, asking for Your mercy, wisdom, and conviction to flood their heart. Father, we ask that You break any ungodly soul ties or emotional attachments that have formed with this non-believer. Sever any cords of deception, lust, or false affection that the enemy has used to blind them to Your will. We declare that their heart belongs to You first, Lord, and we ask that You fill them with a holy discontent for anything that does not align with Your Word.

Father, we pray for the non-believer in this situation. If it is Your will, draw them to Yourself, Lord. Open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel and soften their heart to receive Jesus as their Savior. Let them see the love of Christ through the testimony of this believer, not through a romantic relationship, but through a life lived in obedience to You. If this person is not the one You have for them, Lord, close every door and remove them from their path, replacing this desire with a hunger for Your presence and Your perfect plan.

Lord, we ask that You restore this one to a place of wholehearted devotion to You. Heal any loneliness, insecurity, or fear that may have driven them to seek companionship outside of Your will. Fill them with Your peace, joy, and confidence in Your timing. Surround them with godly friendships and mentors who will encourage them in their walk with You. Give them the strength to walk away from this relationship if it does not honor You, and replace any loss with the fullness of Your love.

Father, we declare that no weapon formed against this one will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We break every assignment of the enemy designed to keep them in bondage to ungodly relationships. We speak restoration over their heart, mind, and spirit, restoration to Your purpose, Your peace, and Your perfect will. May they find their identity and worth in You alone, and may they trust You to provide a godly spouse in Your perfect timing.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, the One who died to set us free from every chain. Amen.

Beloved, we encourage you to surrender this situation fully to the Lord. Trust that He has a plan for your life that is far greater than anything you could imagine (Jeremiah 29:11). Seek Him first, and He will direct your steps (Proverbs 3:5-6). If you have not already, consider joining a Bible-believing church or small group where you can grow in your faith and meet other believers who can support and encourage you. The Lord is faithful, and He will not withhold any good thing from those who walk uprightly (Psalm 84:11). Keep your eyes on Jesus, and He will lead you into the abundant life He has prepared for you.

We're grateful you asked us to pray with you about this meeting today. It's never easy when a friendship hits a rough patch, and wanting to see it restored is a reflection of how much you care. We're lifting this up right alongside you.

As you head into this time together, maybe the most important thing you can carry is a quiet openness. Restoration often begins not with the perfect words, but with a gentle presence, listening well, letting the other person feel safe without pressure to fix everything in one afternoon. Even small moments of genuine connection can remind you both of what drew you together in the first place.

Since your friend doesn't yet share your faith, try not to let that become a barrier today. Let your actions speak, even more than your words. Be patient. Trust that the Lord is at work in ways you can't always see, and remember that a restored relationship might look different than the one you once had, and that's okay. The goal isn't to return to the past but to build something honest and life-giving now.

As you go, we pray:

Father, thank You for this friendship and for the hope of restoration. Please fill this meeting with Your peace. Soften both hearts, remove defensiveness, open the way for understanding, and let real honesty take root. Guide the conversation, and help our friend to listen well and speak with love. Above all, may Your presence be felt, even in the silences. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.

You have asked prayer for restoration with one who does not believe, and this desire touches upon a matter deeper than you may presently perceive. The truest restoration any soul can know is reconciliation with God through Jesus Christ. You go to meet this friend, and that is well, but consider what you carry there. Do you bring the savor of life unto life, or will you, for affection’s sake, soften the edge of truth? There is a Friend that sticketh closer than a brother, and His name is Jesus. He is the sinner’s Friend, proven in the house of sorrow, faithful when all others flee. Have you made Him your own Friend? For if Christ be not the bond of your union, what restoration can there be that endures the winnowing of eternity?

Your prayer asks in Jesus’ name, and that is right, yet the restoration you seek must be sought in His way. He restores the soul, but He does so by bringing it to the cross. Peter was restored, but first he wept bitterly under the look of his Lord. That look severed him from the crowd and brought him to repentance. If you would see this friendship mended in any lasting sense, take care that you do not patch it with the rags of worldly compromise. The faithful friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity. Be that faithful one by telling your friend plainly, “I have found the Friend of sinners, and I would have you know Him too.” Do not merely desire the old ease between you, desire their soul’s salvation. For what fellowship hath light with darkness? The gracious purpose of God is that those who are Christ’s shall be conformed to His image, not pressed back into the mold of the world.

You may fear that standing firm will shatter the fragile thread. But I tell you, a friend who would be lost to you over the offense of the gospel was never truly won. Christ Himself was called a friend of publicans and sinners, yet He never once dined with their sin. Go, then, in the strength of your Master, not begging for a truce that silences truth, but walking in love so unmistakable that your friend shall see in you the steadfastness of one who has been with Jesus. Pray for yourself first, that you be not moved; that you, being a branch in the Vine, bring forth fruit meet for repentance in their sight. God is able to restore the years the locust hath eaten, but He restores upon the terms of grace, not of sentiment. The Shepherd’s crook brings the sheep back, but often through the briar and not the meadow.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You speak of restoring a friendship with one who does not believe. But consider: what is the foundation of any true friendship? Not blood, not long acquaintance, not shared interests, but godliness and the fear of the Lord. For where can there be genuine oneness of soul when one loves Christ and the other denies Him? I tremble to see you so eager to mend a bond that may draw you away from the only Friend who laid down His life for you, when you were yet His enemy.

Do you imagine that the way of Rahab the harlot is nothing? She believed the report, and when all perished, she alone was saved. She did not count her many friends among the faithless as worthy of her trust. Yet you would run to embrace one who stands outside the ark, as though your souls could truly be knit together without a common Lord. Remember the apostle’s warning: a man’s enemies are those of his own household. Will you place yourself again in the path of one who may, with sweet words, undermine your faith?

If you desire restoration, let your first prayer and every effort be for the salvation of that soul. Use every meeting not to revive a worldly affection, but to speak the good tidings, that God is on earth, that paradise is opened, that reconciliation with the Creator is offered even to the perverse. If your friend will hear and turn, then you shall have a brother or sister indeed, a friend according to Christ, surpassing even natural ties. But if they will not, what true peace can there be? Better to suffer a thousand ruptures of earthly companionship than to lose your shield of faith.

So pray, yes, but not merely for the mending of a human bond. Pray with tears that the light of the Gospel may break through that darkness. For when God is your friend, though all men war against you, no harm can touch your soul. Let this be your aim, and let no deceit or hollowness linger in your heart, for where love is, there are no secrets, but all is open before the Lord. Go then, not clinging to a friend who may become a snare, but as an ambassador of the reconciliation you have already received.
