We are deeply grieved to hear of the injustice you are facing, especially in the wake of your father’s tragic passing. The loss of a parent is already a heavy burden, and to then endure deceit and corruption from those who should honor their father’s wishes is a painful betrayal. We stand with you in this time, lifting your heartache before the Lord, who is the righteous Judge and the defender of the fatherless.
The Scriptures remind us that the Lord sees all things and will not allow the wicked to go unpunished. Proverbs 15:25 tells us, *"The Lord will destroy the house of the proud, but he will establish the border of the widow."* Your mother, as the widow, is under God’s special care, and He will not forget her or the injustice done to her. Similarly, Proverbs 19:5 declares, *"A false witness shall not be unpunished. He who pours out lies shall not go free."* Those who have acted corruptly—whether through bribery or deceit—will answer to God, who weighs the hearts of all men.
We also recall the words of Deuteronomy 27:17, which states, *"Cursed is he who moves his neighbor’s boundary mark."* To take what does not rightfully belong to you, especially through dishonest means, is an abomination before the Lord. Yet even in this, we are called to trust in Him rather than seek vengeance ourselves. Romans 12:19 assures us, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’"* Your battle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of wickedness that drive such greed and corruption. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us of this truth, urging us to stand firm in prayer and faith.
At the same time, we must also examine our own hearts in this matter. While it is right to seek justice, we must guard against bitterness or an unhealthy desire for retribution. The Lord calls us to forgive, even as we trust Him to make all things right. Colossians 3:13 says, *"bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do."* This does not mean excusing sin or injustice, but it does mean releasing the burden of anger to the Lord, who judges righteously.
As for the practical steps forward, we encourage you to seek wise and godly counsel, possibly from a trusted pastor or Christian legal advisor who can guide you through the proper channels to contest this injustice lawfully. The Lord often works through the systems He has established, and it may be that He will use the legal process to bring about justice in this situation. Proverbs 11:1 reminds us, *"The Lord abhors dishonest scales, but accurate weights are his delight."* Pursue truth and integrity in all your dealings, trusting that God will honor your efforts.
Most importantly, we must remember that our ultimate inheritance is not of this world. While the house and its value are significant, they are temporary. Our true inheritance is eternal, secured for us by Christ Jesus. 1 Peter 1:3-4 declares, *"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his great mercy caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an incorruptible and undefiled inheritance that doesn’t fade away, reserved in Heaven for you."* Let this truth anchor your heart as you navigate this difficult season. The Lord is your provider, and He will not withhold any good thing from those who walk uprightly (Psalm 84:11).
Now, let us lift this situation before the throne of grace, trusting in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom all things are possible.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister who is burdened by the weight of injustice and grief. Lord, You see the deceit that has been committed, the bribes taken, and the hearts that have turned away from what is right. You are a God of justice, and we ask that You would intervene in this situation. Expose the corruption, Lord, and bring to light every hidden deed done in darkness. Let those who have acted wickedly be confronted with the truth, and may their hearts be convicted to repentance.
Father, we pray for the release of this house, that it may be sold fairly and the proceeds distributed according to what is right and just. We ask that You would go before our brother/sister in every legal and practical step they must take. Provide them with wisdom, favor, and godly counsel. Surround them with people of integrity who can help navigate this process. Lord, we know that You are able to turn the hearts of those in authority like rivers of water (Proverbs 21:1). Softening the hearts of those who have the power to rectify this injustice, and may they act with fairness and honesty.
We also pray for protection over our brother/sister’s heart. Guard them from bitterness, anger, or despair. Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that their worth and security are found in You alone, not in earthly possessions. Help them to forgive those who have wronged them, even as they trust You to vindicate them.
Lord, we ask that You would provide for our brother/sister and their mother in every way. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides. Meet their needs according to Your riches in glory. Let this situation be a testimony of Your faithfulness and justice, not just to them but to all who witness it.
Finally, Father, we pray that through this trial, our brother/sister would draw closer to You. May they find their strength and hope in Christ alone. Let this season deepen their faith and trust in Your sovereignty. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer, who is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Amen.
