🎪 Revival, Washed by Word to Be Pure Bride 👰 Eph 5:26-33, Sanctification of Holy Spirit 💦Heb 12:14, 💫 Ministry of Reconciliation 2 Cor 5:19 🫂 (Vertically -- reconcile God and Humanity... AND Horizontally -- Restoration between Churches, Ministries, Family and Friends -- Unity, John 17:1-25...

🧎🏻 Father, we thank You for the testimony of past revivals and even reformations, for revivalists and reformers, patriarchs, apostles and prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers, Eph 4:11-15. We ask for revival and reformation in ourselves, our churches, families, friends and even all peoples, 1 Tim 2:1-2, for this pleases You, since You desire all people groups and positions to be saved and come to the knowledge of The Truth, 1 Tim 2:3-4.

📖 Jesus, revive and reform us, our pastors, leaders, churches, cities, Jer 29:7, regions, states, nations, 1 Tim 2:1-4. Indeed as You live, let all the earth be filled with Your glory, Numbers 11:24, Ps 72:19, even as the waters cover the seas, Isa 11:9. Hab 2:14. Shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ, 2 Cor 4:6, enlighten the eyes of our understanding, Eph 1:17-18, to love You with ALL our heart, soul, mind, will, emotions, physical strength and finances, Mk 12:30-31, nd our neighbors as ourselves. Let us be sanctified and washed in The Truth of the Water of Your Word, John 17:17, Eph 5:25-26, until You present us to Yourself as Your glorious church with no spot or wrinkle or any such blemish, Eph 5:26-31, this mystery is great, but I speak of Christ and The Church, Eph 5:32-33.

💨 Let it be, Holy Spirit, that we participate with Your sanctifying work, 1 Pet 1:2, so we may by The Spirit put to death the deeds of the flesh, Rom 8:13, and thus by not by our might, nor power, but by My Spirit, says The LORD, Zech 4:6, may we walk in the works You prepared in advance for us to do, Eph 2:10, and thus make ourselves ready as The Bride for Jesus Christ Our Husband, Rev 19:7, and receive the final icing of white linens, pure and bright, for the fine linens are the righteous deeds of the saints, Rev 19:8...

Through Jesus Christ The Mediator of this New Covenant, 1 Tim 2:5, inaugurated by the offering of Yourself once for all, Heb 12:24, we offer these prayers with thanksgiving for obtaining the eternal inheritance, Heb 9:15, in advance, Mk 11:24, for by a single offering He has made perfect for all time those who are being sanctified, Heb 10:14, so we may obey the eternal Gospel to fear God and give You glory, Rev 14:6-7, for if You, LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? But with You is forgiveness, that You mayest be feared, Ps 130:3-4.

Lastly we thank You that You were in Christ by The Fullness of The Spirit without measure, Jn 3:34, reconciling the world back to Yourself, not counting our sins against us, and have given us the same ministry of reconciliation, 2 Cor 5:19. Help us do the work of an evangelist, and thus fulfill that ministry, 2 Tim 4:5. May we be serve You in our spirit in the preaching of the Gospel of Your Son, Rom 1:9, that we might bear much fruit, Jn 15:7-8, not only of The Holy Spirit, Gal 5:22-23, but a harvest of souls in order to bring others from the nations into Your sheepfold, Jn 10:16, helping You as Your helpmeets, Gen 2:17-18, Eph 5:32-33, gathering and calling others to come, Luke 14:21-23, to the Marriage Supper of The Lamb, Isa 25:6, Matt 22:1-2, and to the discipleship of sanctification by continually knowing Truth by continuing in Your Word, John 8:31-32, Matt 28:19-20, and continuing to patiently continue to call all of us to the holiness without which no one will see The Lord, Heb 12:14, as Your holy people, Your own possession, called out of darkness into Your marvelous light, enabling and emboldening us with Power from on High to be witnesses, Acts 1:8, proclaiming Your excellencies 1 Peter 2:9. Thank You Father, Thank You Jesus and Thank You Holy Spirit, 2 Cor 13:14, in Jesus' Name, Jn 14:13-14, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join with you in this deep cry for revival and reformation and we say amen to your heart for the Church to be washed by the Word to be presented as a pure Bride to Christ.

We are stirred by your prayer that God would bring both vertical reconciliation between God and humanity and horizontal restoration between churches, ministries, families and friends, for this is the very heart of the ministry He has entrusted to us. As it is written, God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not reckoning to them their trespasses, and having committed to us the word of reconciliation 2 Cor 5:19. We pray that we would be faithful ambassadors of that reconciliation, first being reconciled to God through the blood of Jesus and then walking in unity with one another as Jesus prayed, that they may all be one, even as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us John 17:21.

We agree with you for a true washing and sanctification. Jesus gave himself for the church, that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the church to himself glorious, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that it should be holy and without defect Eph 5:26-27. We pray that we would continue to be sanctified in the truth, for your word is truth John 17:17, and that we would pursue the holiness without which no one will see the Lord Heb 12:14. We thank God that this sanctification is not by our might nor by our power but by His Spirit Zech 4:6, and that by the Spirit we are enabled to put to death the deeds of the body Rom 8:13, being chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father in sanctification of the Spirit 1 Pet 1:2.

We lift up with you our own hearts, our churches, our pastors and teachers, our cities and nations, asking as you did that God would revive and reform us. We pray that He would give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ 2 Cor 4:6 and enlighten the eyes of our hearts Eph 1:18, so that we may love the Lord our God with all our heart, with all our soul, with all our mind, and with all our strength Mark 12:30 and love our neighbors as ourselves. We ask that the whole earth would be filled with His glory as the waters cover the sea Hab 2:14, and that we would walk in the good works which God prepared in advance that we should walk in them Eph 2:10.

We rejoice with you that through Jesus Christ, the one mediator between God and men 1 Tim 2:5, who through a single offering has perfected forever those who are being sanctified Heb 10:14, we have access to the Father and an eternal inheritance Heb 9:15. It is only through His name that we can come boldly to the throne of grace, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved Acts 4:12, and whatever we ask in His name He will do John 14:13-14. We thank God that if He marked iniquities, who could stand, but there is forgiveness with Him that He may be feared Ps 130:3-4.

So we pray together now, Father, we thank You for every past revival and reformation and for those You have gifted to the church, apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers for the equipping of the saints Eph 4:11-12. We ask for a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit upon us, upon our families, upon our churches and upon our land. Wash us again by the water of Your Word until we are without spot or blemish, and make us ready as a Bride adorned for her husband Rev 19:7, clothed in fine linen, bright and pure, which is the righteous acts of the saints Rev 19:8. Empower us from on high to be Your witnesses Acts 1:8, to do the work of an evangelist 2 Tim 4:5, to preach the gospel in the power of our spirit Rom 1:9, to bear much fruit John 15:8 and to make disciples of all nations, baptizing and teaching them to observe all that You commanded Matt 28:19-20, continuing in Your Word so that we will know the truth and the truth will make us free John 8:31-32. Bring deep unity where there has been division, healing where there has been offense, and let us be a holy people, Your own possession, called out of darkness into Your marvelous light to proclaim Your excellencies 1 Pet 2:9. We ask this with thanksgiving, trusting that You hear us, in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We hear the deep burden in your prayer for revival and for the church to be made pure and ready for Christ. We join you in thanking God for how He has worked through past generations, and in asking Him to work again in us, in our families and churches, and across our communities.

What you described about being washed by the Word and walking in holiness is a lifelong process. We have found it helps to remember that God sets us apart at salvation, and then graciously continues to shape us over time to be more like Jesus. That growth happens gradually, with highs and lows, not all at once. It is His work in us by the Holy Spirit, and it also invites our willing participation as we stay close to Him.

Your heart for reconciliation, both with God and between people, is beautiful. That kind of restoration takes patience and humility, and a steady commitment to love and trustworthiness on both sides.

A simple next step that may encourage you is to keep anchoring this burden in the ordinary means God uses, time in His Word, prayer for yourself and for others, and worship together with other believers. If you can, share this prayer burden with one pastor or trusted friend and pray together regularly for your church and city, asking the Spirit to give light and strength for the next faithful step.

Father, we thank You for this brother or sister who longs to see Your glory known. Wash and renew them by Your Word, deepen their love for You and for their neighbors, and make them a faithful witness of Your reconciling love. Unite Your people where there has been division, and use them to draw others toward Christ. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your prayer for revival and for the Church to be washed by the water of the Word has been laid before the Lord, and it is a prayer in which every true heart must join.

We do rejoice with you in this noble position into which the grace of God has lifted all believers, for by the will of God we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Incarnate God, by offering His own blood, by bearing in His own body the curse and in His own spirit enduring the wrath, was able to effect the purpose of the everlasting Father in the purging of His people, in the setting of His chosen apart and making them henceforth holiness. The Father joins in the verdict of His Son that it is finished, all the will of God for the sanctification of His people is accomplished. Yet this work must be applied to us by the Holy Spirit, who takes away from us all hope of being sanctified by any means of our own, and takes of the things of Christ and reveals them to us.

You have asked rightly that we may participate with His sanctifying work and by the Spirit put to death the deeds of the flesh. Hear the word, without holiness, practical, personal, active, vital holiness, no one shall see the Lord. This is not a demand for a perfection which no one who knows his own heart would claim, but for that real holiness which deals with the thoughts and intents, the purposes and motives of men, which sets the heart on God and makes it beat with love to Him. Morality may clean the outside of the cup, but holiness goes into the very caverns of the heart. If grace has really changed us, we are radically and lastingly changed, and we shall not depart from Him, for He has met the demands of moral government and made amends to holiness for our offences.

And as to revival, you have prayed as you ought. If a revival be true and real, it is caused by the Holy Spirit, and by Him alone. A Church cannot be revived unless God revives it. The machinery for getting up a revival may often be the greatest hindrance to true godliness. In vain shall we struggle after revival unless we have His presence. When the Spirit of God comes, there will be life in the Church and life in the ministry, life in prayer, life in effort, life in holiness, life in brotherly love, and the next effect will be seen in the calling out of numerous converts and the praise of God, for that revival brings forth most fruit that gives to God the most glory.

Therefore we join our petitions with yours. Will You not revive us again, O Lord, that Your people may rejoice in You. Wash us, O Christ, with the washing of water by the Word, that You might present to Yourself a glorious Church, not having spot or wrinkle. Let the Spirit work in us both to will and to do, that we may walk in the good works prepared for us, and make ourselves ready as a bride adorned for her husband, her fine linen being the righteous deeds of the saints wrought by grace. Reconcile us fully to God through Your one offering, and then make us instruments of that ministry of reconciliation, both vertically and horizontally, that we may walk with God and walk in unity with all who are truly His, being one as You and the Father are one, that the world may know Your glory.

May the Lord shine in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of His glory in the face of Jesus Christ, and keep us following holiness and peace, persevering therein to the end, for His name's sake. Amen.
