Beloved of All
🎪 Revival, Washed by Word to Be Pure Bride 👰 Eph 5:26-33, Sanctification of Holy Spirit 💦Heb 12:14, 💫 Ministry of Reconciliation 2 Cor 5:19🫂...🧎🏻 Father, we thank You for the testimony of past revivals and even reformations, for revivalists and reformers, patriarchs, apostles and prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers, Eph 4:11-15. We ask for revival and reformation in ourselves, our churches, families, friends and even all peoples, 1 Tim 2:1-2, for this pleases You, since You desire all people groups and positions to be saved and come to the knowledge of The Truth, 1 Tim 2:3-4.

📖 Jesus, revive and reform us, our pastors, leaders, churches, cities, Jer 29:7, regions, states, nations, 1 Tim 2:1-4, and indeed as You live, let all the earth be filled with Your glory, Numbers 11:24, Ps 72:19, even as the waters cover the seas, Isa 11:9. Hab 2:14. Shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ, 2 Cor 4:6, enlighten the eyes of our understanding, Eph 1:17-18, love Y and let us be sanctified and washed in The Truth of the Water of Your Word, John 17:17, Eph 5:25-26, until You present us to Yourself as Your glorious church with no spot or wrinkle or any such blemish, Eph 5:26-31, this mystery is great, but I speak of Christ and The Church, Eph 5:32-33.

💨 Let it be, Holy Spirit, that we participate with Your sanctifying work, 1 Pet 1:2, so we may by The Spirit put to death the deeds of the flesh, Rom 8:13, and thus by not by our might, nor power, but by My Spirit, says The LORD, Zech 4:6, may we walk in the works You prepared in advance for us to do, Eph 2:10, and thus make ourselves ready as The Bride for Jesus Christ Our Husband, Rev 19:7, and receive the final capstone of white linens, pure and bright, for the fine linens are the righteous deeds of the saints, Rev 19:8...

It is through Jesus Christ The Mediator of this New Covenant, 1 Tim 2:5, inaugurated by the offering of Yourself once for all, Heb 12:24, we offer these prayers with thanksgiving for obtaining the eternal inheritance, Heb 9:15, in advance, Mk 11:24, for by a single offering He has made perfect for all time those who are being sanctified, Heb 10:14, so we may obey the eternal Gospel to fear God and give You glory, Rev 14:6-7, for if You, LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? But with You is forgiveness, that You mayest be feared, Ps 130:3-4.

And lastly we thank You that You were in Christ by The Fullness of The Spirit without measure, Jn 3:34, reconciling the world back to Yourself, not counting our sins against us, and have given us the same ministry of reconciliation, 2 Cor 5:19. Help us do the work of an evangelist, and thus fulfill that ministry, 2 Tim 4:5. May we be serve You in our spirit in the preaching of the Gospel of Your Son, Rom 1:9, that we might bear much fruit, Jn 15:7-8, not only of The Holy Spirit, Gal 5:22-23, but a harvest of souls in order to bring others from the nations into Your sheepfold, Jn 10:16, helping You as Your helpmeets, gathering and calling others to come, Luke 14:21-23, to the Marriage Supper of The Lamb, Isa 25:6, Matt 22:1-2, and to the discipleship of sanctification by continually knowing Truth by continuing in Your Word, John 8:31-32, and continuing to patiently continue to call all of us to the holiness without which no one will see The Lord, Heb 12:14, as Your holy people, Your own possession, called out of darkness into Your marvelous light, enabling and emboldening us with Power from on High to be witnesses, Acts 1:8, proclaiming Your excellencies 1 Peter 2:9. Thank You Father, Thank You Jesus and Thank You Holy Spirit, 2 Cor 13:14, in Jesus' Name, Jn 14:13-14, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join you in this deep and biblical cry for revival, for the washing of the Word, for sanctification, and for the ministry of reconciliation, and we say amen to this prayer. It is a prayer that is fully aligned with the heart of God, who desires all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4, and who is calling His church to be made ready as a pure bride for Christ.

We love how you have anchored this burden in Scripture. The longing to be washed by the water of the Word is exactly what Christ is doing for His church, that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that it should be holy and without defect, Eph 5:26-27. This is that great mystery of Christ and the church, Eph 5:32, and we rejoice that you are asking the Lord to fulfill it in us. We also join you in asking for that holiness without which no one will see the Lord, Heb 12:14, knowing this is the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit, 1 Pet 1:2, as we through the Spirit put to death the deeds of the body, Rom 8:13, not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says Yahweh of Armies, Zech 4:6. And we agree for the grace to walk in the ministry of reconciliation, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not reckoning to them their trespasses, and having committed to us the word of reconciliation, 2 Cor 5:19, and to do the work of an evangelist, 2 Tim 4:5, serving with our spirit in the Good News of His Son, Rom 1:9.

We pray together now.

Father, we thank You for the testimony of past revivals and reformations and for the gifts You gave to equip Your people, apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers, Eph 4:11, for the perfecting of the saints. We ask now for fresh revival and reformation in ourselves, in our families, in our churches, in our cities and nations, as You have taught us to pray for all people and for those in high places, 1 Tim 2:1-2. Lord Jesus, revive and reform us. Shine in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ, 2 Cor 4:6, and enlighten the eyes of our understanding, Eph 1:18, that we may be sanctified in Your truth, for Your word is truth, John 17:17. Wash us daily, Lord, until we are that glorious church without spot or wrinkle. Holy Spirit, have Your way in us, lead us to walk in the good works which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them, Eph 2:10, and make us ready as the Bride, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and his wife has made herself ready, Rev 19:7, clothed in fine linen, bright and pure, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints, Rev 19:8.

We thank You, Father, that it is through Jesus Christ, the mediator of a new covenant, 1 Tim 2:5, Heb 12:24, that we have this access, for by one offering he has perfected forever those who are being sanctified, Heb 10:14, and we come with thanksgiving for the eternal inheritance, Heb 9:15. Help us to fear You and give You glory as we obey the eternal Good News, Rev 14:7, remembering that if You, Yah, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand, but there is forgiveness with You, therefore You are feared, Ps 130:3-4. Empower us from on high to be Your witnesses, Acts 1:8, to bear much fruit, John 15:8, both the fruit of the Spirit, Gal 5:22-23, and a harvest of souls, gathering others to the marriage supper of the Lamb, Matt 22:2, Isa 25:6, calling them to continue in Your word to know the truth that sets free, John 8:31-32, and to live as Your holy people, Your own possession, who proclaim the excellencies of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light, 1 Pet 2:9.

We ask all of this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is in His name we pray according to His promise that whatever we ask in His name He will do, John 14:13-14. Amen.

We are grateful for this prayer and we join our hearts with yours for what you have brought before the Lord.

Your longing for revival to begin in us first, and then to spread through our homes, our churches and our communities, is a burden we share. It is encouraging to hear you ask not just for outward change but for inward cleansing and readiness as Christ's people.

We have found it helps to remember that being set apart by God is both His gracious work and a lifelong walk with Him. Growth is usually gradual and uneven, with real highs and lows, and it happens as we stay close to the Lord through His Word, through prayer, and through worship alongside other believers. It is the Spirit who brings the growth, and our part is to keep turning to Him in dependence day by day, putting off what does not belong and putting on what reflects Christ.

If it would help this week, perhaps choose one simple, steady rhythm to keep with another believer, reading a portion of Scripture together, praying for a neighbor or family member by name, and gathering for worship. Those ordinary means are often how God quietly shapes and strengthens us for the ministry of reconciliation you described.

Father, we thank You for Your mercy in Christ and for Your desire that many would come to know Your truth. Work in us by Your Spirit, wash us and make us more like Jesus, and make us faithful to share Your good news with those around us. Give us love for Your Word, faithfulness in prayer, and courage to walk in the good works You have prepared for us. In Jesus' name, Amen.

We have heard your cry for revival and for the washing of the Bride by the water of the Word, and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace.

Your prayer is according to the mind of the Spirit. Our Lord Jesus would present to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but holy and without blemish, and this great mystery of Christ and His Church is wrought by His own doing. By the will of God we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Incarnate God by offering His own blood, by bearing in His own body the curse, has effected the purpose of the everlasting Father in the purging of His people and the setting apart of His chosen. The Father joins in the verdict of His Son that it is finished, all the will of God for the sanctification of His people is accomplished. And this work must be applied to us by the Holy Spirit, who takes away from us all hope of being sanctified by any means of our own, brings us to see our need of cleansing and reconciliation, and takes of the things of Christ and reveals them to us.

You ask rightly that we may participate with His sanctifying work and by the Spirit put to death the deeds of the flesh. Remember that without holiness, practical, personal, active, vital holiness, no one shall see the Lord. This is not a perfection of holiness which no man who knows his own heart would claim, but a real holiness of life, the opposite of impurity, for God has not called us unto uncleanness but unto holiness. If our heart is really right in His statutes, though we bemoan many imperfections, we have that holiness wherein we may rejoice, and we pray, Finish then Your new creation, pure and spotless let us be. This perseverance is perseverance in holiness. The covenant of grace is a compact of pure promise, not dependent upon merit. The slightest touch of merit puts perishable material into the covenant, but if it be of pure grace then the covenant is everlasting, and everything that can be supposed to be a condition is provided. He who has met the demands of moral government by His atoning death will keep His people so that they shall not depart from Him.

Concerning revival, be assured that if a revival be true and real, it is caused by the Holy Spirit and by Him alone. Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith the Lord. It belongeth not to us to get up a revival by our own contrivance. Unto the Lord our God alone doth this belong, for He is absolute monarch of the hearts of men. When He comes there will be life in the Church and life in the ministry, life in prayer, life in effort, life in holiness, life in brotherly love, and then the calling out of numerous converts. Therefore let us avow our desire to walk with God, for in vain shall we struggle after revival unless we have His presence. Let us sit still before the Lord, deaf to every voice but the Divine, with hearts ready and hands ready to be carried along on the crest of that blessed wave, seeking first His glory as our Alpha and Omega.

We pray with you that we may be washed in the truth of the Word, that we may walk in the good works which God has prepared beforehand for us to do, and make ourselves ready as the Bride for our Husband, clothed in fine linen pure and bright, which is the righteous deeds of the saints. And we pray that He who was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting our trespasses against us, would make us faithful in the ministry of reconciliation, to do the work of an evangelist, to serve Him in our spirit in the preaching of the gospel of His Son, that we may bear much fruit and gather others to the marriage supper of the Lamb, calling all to that holiness without which no one will see the Lord, as a holy people, His own possession, called out of darkness into His marvelous light.

May the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit grant you power from on high to continue in His Word and to know the truth which sanctifies, to the praise of His glorious grace, in Jesus name, Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your longing for revival and for the church to be washed by the Word to be a pure bride is itself pleasing to God, for He desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth through Jesus Christ alone, who is the one Mediator of the new covenant.

We join you in thanking God for the good tidings He has declared to all. This is removal of punishment and remission of sins, and righteousness and sanctification and redemption and adoption and an inheritance of heaven, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting our sins against us, and opening the way for those who were enemies and sitting in darkness to have fellowship with Him.

We pray with you that the Lord would grant true revival and reformation, beginning in our own hearts and spreading to families, churches, cities and nations, that the earth would be filled with the knowledge of His glory and that many would be enlightened to see the light of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

We ask that Christ would sanctify His people by the washing of water with the Word, that He might present the church to Himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, holy and without blemish. This sanctifying work is the will of God for you. It is to have a pure conscience without deceit or hypocrisy, and a pure heart cleansed from envy, malice, unbelief and every evil thought, for blessed are the pure in heart. It is also to live in holiness of body. Scripture calls us to follow peace with all people and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord.

In this, marriage is honorable as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and it preserves holiness by keeping the marriage bed pure and guarding against fornication and adultery. Whether unmarried in chastity or married in faithfulness, we are called to abstain from all fornication and to put to death the deeds of the flesh by the Spirit, not by our own might or power but by His Spirit, walking in the good works He prepared for us and making ourselves ready as a bride adorned for her husband, clothed in fine linen which is the righteous deeds of the saints.

We pray also that God would make you fruitful in the ministry of reconciliation which He has given to His people. As you continue in His Word and are sanctified in the truth, may He give you power from on high to be His witnesses, to do the work of an evangelist, to proclaim His excellencies and to call others out of darkness into His marvelous light, so that they too may fear Him, receive forgiveness, and be gathered to the marriage supper of the Lamb.

May the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit keep you in sincerity and truth, establish your hearts blameless in holiness before Him, and grant you confidence and hope as you serve Him, until you obtain the eternal inheritance secured for you by the single offering of Christ, who has made perfect for all time those who are being sanctified. We ask this in the name of Jesus, Amen.
