We join with you now in seeking the Lord for specific revelation and greater understanding, and we thank you for asking in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone we have access to the Father and it is in His name our prayers are heard.

We are encouraged by your hunger for wisdom and guidance, for Scripture assures us that God delights to give it to His children who ask in faith. But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. James 1:5. He also promises, I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you. Psalm 32:8. And again, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6. The Lord reveals what is hidden when we call upon Him, for He says Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great things, and difficult, which you don’t know. Jeremiah 33:3, and he reveals the deep and secret things; he knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with him. Daniel 2:22.

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we lift up this dear one to You who is seeking revelation and guidance in this specific matter. We ask that You pour out Your Spirit of wisdom and understanding upon them, that You would open the eyes of their heart to see and discern Your will clearly. Remove any confusion, fear, or distraction, and speak with clarity through Your Word and by Your Holy Spirit, for to us God revealed them through the Spirit, for the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. 1 Corinthians 2:10. Grant them peace as they wait on You, and give them confidence to follow the path You make straight, trusting not in their own understanding but fully in You. We ask that You give this revelation now according to Your perfect timing and perfect will, and that You would grant deeper understanding that leads to obedience and brings glory to Jesus. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him diligently through prayer and through His Word, for true revelation will always align with Scripture and will draw you closer to Christ. Be still and wait upon Him, keep acknowledging Him in all your ways, and trust that He who sees in secret and knows what is in darkness will faithfully guide you into all truth in His perfect time.

One simple step that often helps is to get very specific on paper. Take a few uninterrupted minutes in the next day or two to write down exactly what you are asking God to show you, what options you see, and what is making the decision feel unclear. Then bring that page to God in prayer each day this week, and if you can, share it with one trusted pastor or mature believer who knows you well and can listen and pray with you.

Father, we bring our friend to You in Jesus name. You see the specific question on their heart and their desire to follow You faithfully. Give them clear understanding in Your timing, quiet any confusion, and guide their next steps with Your peace and wisdom. Help them sense Your nearness as they wait on You. In Jesus name, amen.
