We join with you now in seeking the Lord for specific revelation and greater understanding, and we thank you for asking in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone we have access to the Father and it is in His name our prayers are heard.
We are encouraged by your hunger for wisdom and guidance, for Scripture assures us that God delights to give it to His children who ask in faith. But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. James 1:5. He also promises, I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you. Psalm 32:8. And again, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6. The Lord reveals what is hidden when we call upon Him, for He says Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great things, and difficult, which you don’t know. Jeremiah 33:3, and he reveals the deep and secret things; he knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with him. Daniel 2:22.
We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we lift up this dear one to You who is seeking revelation and guidance in this specific matter. We ask that You pour out Your Spirit of wisdom and understanding upon them, that You would open the eyes of their heart to see and discern Your will clearly. Remove any confusion, fear, or distraction, and speak with clarity through Your Word and by Your Holy Spirit, for to us God revealed them through the Spirit, for the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. 1 Corinthians 2:10. Grant them peace as they wait on You, and give them confidence to follow the path You make straight, trusting not in their own understanding but fully in You. We ask that You give this revelation now according to Your perfect timing and perfect will, and that You would grant deeper understanding that leads to obedience and brings glory to Jesus. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Your longing for revelation and guidance and for more understanding is itself a token that the Lord is at work within you, for an understanding heart is a free grace gift from His hand. Had He withheld it, we would never have sought the Savior, and the very desire to know His will is a sign of His mercy toward you.
Be assured that true wisdom is not found by our own strivings, for the price of wisdom is above rubies and it must come to us by revelation from God. In His infinite wisdom the Lord has written to us this divine message in His Word with a rugged grandeur and sublime simplicity which even a child can comprehend, and that revelation directs our faith to Himself and to His dear Son. It is there, in the Scriptures, with an attentive ear and an understanding heart, that the Lord makes us to know wisdom in the hidden part.
You ask for guidance now, and I would have you remember that haste is the author of a great deal of mischief in human life. The Lord guides not by hurried impulse but by great principles infused in those who take Him for their Guide, and chief among them is this, to avoid everything that is evil, for behold the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to depart from evil is understanding. Bowing with submission to the will of God, by that very fact we are furnished with unerring guidance, and holiness is as near akin to perfect wisdom as sin is to insanity. Divine wisdom, dressed in robes of love and tenderness, invites us to run into her arms, and He who has promised to guide us with His counsel will afterward receive us to glory.
Therefore let us seek Him together in prayer without haste and without demanding a new voice apart from His Word, but asking that He will enlighten the understanding, influence the will and change the affections by His grace.
Let us pray. O Lord our God, who desires truth in the inward parts, grant to this seeking soul not a fancied revelation of man, but Thy true light. Open the eyes of the understanding to know Thee and the height and depth of Thy precious love in Christ Jesus, through whom alone is salvation. Give a clear understanding of Thy Word, that it may not be heard without profit, but received into the heart to sanctify and to guide. Teach submission to Thy holy will, keep from all evil, and make the path plain step by step by Thy counsel. In all things give patience to wait upon Thee and faith to trust Thy compass across the trackless waste of life. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who is the heart of Thine eternal purpose and the climax of all revelation. Amen.

Your desire for revelation and greater understanding is good, and I have prayed for you in the name of Jesus that God will give you what you need in His perfect time and way.
I asked that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, that the eyes of your understanding may be enlightened. For true understanding does not come from our own mind or from arguments alone. As we are taught, the wisdom that is of this world terminates here and cannot profit us, while the wisdom that is from God was hidden and is revealed only by His Spirit. The Spirit alone searches the deep things of God and reveals them, and without the Spirit the natural mind cannot receive the things of God, for they seem like foolishness to it.
All the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Christ. Therefore seek Him above all. Come to Him with a heart that loves Scripture, that holds to sound teaching, and that seeks to walk in purity. Nothing makes a person so foolish as wickedness and deceit, and nothing makes a person so wise as virtue and the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom. If we cast out wickedness and contrive no deceit, and if we are knit together in love and in full assurance of understanding, we are made ready to receive what the Spirit shows us.
So continue to ask, to seek in prayer, and to listen in Scripture with humility and patience. Do not trust only to your own thoughts or to the wisdom that is without, but ask God to show you His will, to make His way clear, and to give you grace to follow it faithfully. He who has called you is faithful, and He will lead you step by step.

I have prayed for you and I continue to pray that God will give you clear understanding and guidance in Jesus name.
The very word revelation means an unveiling, a taking away of the covering. It is not a sealed book that cannot be understood. God gave this revelation to Jesus Christ to show to His servants, and He sent it by His messenger to John, who faithfully recorded what he saw and heard. At times an angel guided John and at times elders spoke to him, but the center of it all is Jesus Himself being unveiled.
That is important for your request. The greatest revelation God wants to give you is not just an answer about a specific situation, but a clearer sight of Jesus Christ Himself. When He is unveiled to your heart, the guidance for your situation becomes clearer as well.
Scripture gives a simple key for understanding how God reveals things. John was told to write the things which he had seen, the things which are, and the things which will be hereafter. God reveals in an orderly way, He shows you what you need to see today, He speaks to where you are now, and He will show you what is to come as you walk with Him. You can trust Him to do that for you step by step.
