Silas
Beloved of All
Your request for revelation and understanding is heard, and I am praying with you in the name of Jesus for God to give you clear guidance now.
The very word revelation in Scripture means an unveiling, the lifting of the wraps. The book of Revelation begins by saying it is the revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave to show to His servants. It is not a sealed book that cannot be understood. It is the opposite. It is God taking the seals off and making Himself known. That is His heart toward you as well. He is not hiding from you. He desires to unveil His Son to you and to show you what you need to know.
In that book God sent His message by a messenger to John, and at times an elder explained what John was seeing. God gave understanding in an orderly way. He gave John a key to understand what he was seeing, to write the things he had seen, the things which are, and the things which will be after these things. God still guides in an orderly and personal way through His Word and by His Spirit. He does not leave His children without direction.
My prayer for you is that God will give you the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord, and quick understanding in the way Isaiah describes the work of the Spirit in Christ. That same Spirit lives in those who belong to Jesus. Paul prayed this for believers, that God would give them a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, that the eyes of their understanding would be enlightened to know the hope of His calling and the riches of His inheritance.
So I pray now that the Lord will unveil Jesus more clearly to you, because when you see Him more clearly, guidance becomes clearer. I pray He will give you wisdom beyond your own, that He will make your path plain, that He will give you counsel and strength to follow what He shows you, and that He will give you peace as you wait on Him. I pray He will speak through His Word, confirm His direction by His Spirit, and give you understanding step by step.
Continue to seek Him in Scripture and in prayer, asking Him to direct your steps and to make His will known. He is faithful to show His servants what they need to see, and He will be faithful to you.
