We join with you in Jesus' name and thank you for asking us to pray for revelation and understanding, for we know our God delights to give wisdom to those who seek Him with a sincere heart.
We are encouraged that you asked in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that our prayers are heard. As it is written, Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6.
The Lord promises to give guidance and to reveal His will when we ask in faith. Scripture says But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. We can come boldly knowing He does not withhold good understanding from those who earnestly seek Him. He also says Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great and difficult things, which you don’t know Jeremiah 33:3 and I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you Psalm 32:8.
We pray that the Lord will open the eyes of your understanding according to His Word. We remember the prayer Open my eyes, that I may see wondrous things out of your law Psalm 119:18 and our desire is that He would give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened Ephesians 1:17-18. Jesus promised that when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth John 16:13, and we trust the Holy Spirit to lead you into all that God wants you to know in this specific matter.
We encourage you to continue to trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6. True revelation will always align with Scripture and will bring peace and clarity, not confusion, for God is not a God of confusion, but of peace. Stay rooted in the Word, wait quietly before Him in prayer, and test all understanding against what He has already revealed in the Bible.

Your desire for revelation and understanding is itself a good gift, and we have brought your request before the Lord in the name of Jesus Christ.
We have prayed that the Lord, who is the giver of all wisdom, would grant you a clear understanding and sure guidance according to His perfect will. True wisdom must come to us by revelation from God, for we cannot find it by our own efforts. The price of wisdom is above rubies, and it is not discovered by hasty searching or by leaning upon our own judgment. As it is written, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to depart from evil is understanding.
The Lord guides His people not by fleeting impressions, but by His Word, by great principles infused in the heart, and by a humble submission to His will. One of those principles is to avoid everything that is evil, and another is to bow with submission to the will of God, for by that very fact we are furnished with unerring guidance. Divine Wisdom, dressed in robes of love and tenderness, invites us to run into her arms, and holiness is as near akin to perfect wisdom as sin is to insanity. Haste is the author of a great deal of mischief in human life, so we prayed that you would be kept from hurried decisions and be led to wait patiently upon the Lord.
We asked that God would give you an attentive ear and an understanding heart to receive His Word, for it cannot become a sanctifying word to any except as far as they receive it into the understanding. If we have received an understanding to know Him and the height and depth of His precious love, truly we have received it as a free grace gift from the hand of our Lord. Grace must come and enlighten the understanding, influence the will, and change the affections.
Therefore continue to seek Him in prayer, in the diligent reading of Scripture, and in trusting Him with all your heart. Wisdom is the compass by which we steer across the trackless waste of life, and trust in God is true wisdom. He has promised, Thou shalt guide me with Thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.
May the Lord in His infinite wisdom make His way plain to you, give you light upon His Word, and lead you in the path that is pleasing to Him. We pray this in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father and in whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

Your desire for more understanding and for clear guidance from God is itself a good gift, and I join you in bringing it before Him now.
Scripture teaches that true wisdom and revelation do not come from our own minds or from the wisdom of this world, but from the working of God. The natural mind cannot receive the things of the Spirit of God, and the wisdom that trusts only in itself becomes foolishness. It is the Holy Spirit who reveals the deep things of God and who opens our understanding to see what is hidden.
So I pray for you in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father and in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. May the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. May He enlighten the eyes of your understanding, so that you may know the hope to which He has called you and perceive His will with full assurance and faith.

There is something beautiful in your desire for more understanding and clear guidance from the Lord, and I have prayed for you in the name of Jesus that He will give it.
The word revelation in the Bible means an unveiling, a taking off of the covering so something can be seen clearly. The book of Revelation begins by saying it is the revelation of Jesus Christ, given by God to show His servants what must take place. It is not a sealed book that cannot be understood. It is an unveiling. God wants to make Himself known. The greatest revelation He gives is not just information about a situation, but the revealing of His Son Himself, His character, His heart, and His purposes.
That helps us understand how to seek guidance. God has shown that His revelation comes through Jesus Christ, made known by His Spirit and recorded in His Word, and at times carried by His messengers. The key given to understand that unveiling is to look first at Jesus as He is, then at the things that are in the present, and then at the things that are to come according to His plan. When Jesus is at the center, the rest begins to come into focus.
So my prayer for you now is that the Lord will give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. Scripture speaks of the Holy Spirit as the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, of counsel and might, of knowledge and the fear of the Lord, and of quick understanding.
