Beloved of All
We join you in prayer today asking our Father for wisdom and understanding. We pray in the name of Jesus that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, so that you may understand more clearly what He has called you to and the greatness of His power toward those who believe.
All the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Christ, and true understanding does not come from our own mind or cleverness but from the grace of the Holy Spirit working in us. The wisdom that is from God is not like the wisdom of this world which comes to nothing, but is the wisdom He prepared before the ages for our glory, and He delights to give it to those who seek Him.
As you ask for guidance for this specific matter, we pray that He will make His will plain to you and give you full assurance of understanding. Scripture teaches that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and that virtue is the spring of prudence while wickedness and deceit make the mind foolish and the holy Spirit of discipline will flee from deceit. So we pray that you will keep your heart clean before Him, turn from what is wrong, walk in love and obedience, and let the light of the divine Scriptures be your sure and unerring standard, more reliable than what eyes alone can see.
May the Lord knit your heart together in love, establish you in faith, and show you the next faithful step to take. Where you need clarity now, may He grant it, and where you need patience to wait on His timing, may He grant peace to trust Him and to obey what you already know of His will. We ask that you will grow in knowledge of Christ Himself, in whom all wisdom dwells, and that your life will bear the good works which come from that knowledge.
