Beloved of All
I am asking for prayers regarding me and my son. We have been on and off for quite a few years. I have 5 beautiful grandchildren that I also am not seeing. I would like prayers to get my family back together in Jesus name!

We hear your heartache, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting up your deep desire to be reunited with your son and to embrace your grandchildren once more. Family is a precious gift from God, and it grieves us to see division where there should be love and unity. We know that the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came so that we may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Let us stand together in faith, believing that God can restore what has been broken.

First, we must address the foundation of this prayer. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and it is by His blood alone that reconciliation is possible. If you have not already, we encourage you to examine your own heart and relationship with Him. Have you surrendered your life to Jesus as your Lord and Savior? If not, we urge you to confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him into your heart (Romans 10:9-10). Without Christ, there is no true reconciliation, for He is the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6).

Now, let us pray for restoration in your family:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this mother and her son. Lord, You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). We ask that You would soften both of their hearts, removing any bitterness, pride, or unforgiveness that may stand in the way of reconciliation. Father, we declare that Your love is greater than any division, and we ask that You would draw them back together in unity. Restore the years that the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25), and let Your peace reign in their relationship.

Lord, we also pray for these precious grandchildren. May they come to know You as their Savior and grow in the fear and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). We ask that You would open doors for this grandmother to be a godly influence in their lives, speaking life, truth, and love into their hearts. Protect them from the schemes of the enemy, and let them experience the fullness of Your love through their family.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of division, strife, or rebellion that may be at work in this situation. We declare that where the enemy has sown discord, You will sow unity. Where there has been distance, You will bring closeness. Where there has been silence, You will restore communication. We speak healing over past wounds and ask that You would replace them with Your peace.

We also encourage you to examine your own life and actions. Are there areas where you may have contributed to this division? Have you sought forgiveness where it is needed? The Bible tells us, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men" (Romans 12:18). Humility and repentance are key to reconciliation. If there are sins in your life, whether in word, deed, or attitude, confess them to God and ask Him to help you walk in a manner worthy of the calling you have received (Ephesians 4:1-2).

Additionally, we urge you to pray for your son and his heart. Pray that God would reveal Himself to him in a powerful way and that he would be drawn to seek reconciliation with a humble and repentant spirit. Remember, "The king’s heart is in the Lord’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires" (Proverbs 21:1). God can move in his heart in ways you cannot.

Lastly, we encourage you to be patient and trust in God’s timing. Restoration may not happen overnight, but God is faithful. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and continue to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17). Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).

May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). We stand with you in faith, believing that God will bring about a beautiful restoration in your family. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
